Phase 1 runs from November 4 to November 24. Mitya debuts on the character event banner and Furina returns on a rerun banner. Valeriy is featured as the 4-star on both Phase 1 banners, so you get a chance at him whichever one you pull on.
Phase 2 runs from November 24 to December 15 and brings reruns for Zibai and Linnea. A Chronicled Wish banner also returns in 7.2 with Natlan characters and their signature weapons.

Mitya is a 5-star Electro catalyst user and the headline character of 7.2. Game8 describes him as a Stellar-Conduct DPS or support, and lists Yae Miko and Alyosha as strong teammates because they supply Electro damage and team buffs.
His signature weapon is Starsealed Edict, a 5-star catalyst with 542 base ATK and CRIT DMG 88.2% as its bonus stat. It is expected to be rate-up on the weapon banner alongside Mitya in Phase 1. Valeriy: a shield for Stellar-Conduct teams
Valeriy is a 4-star Electro sword user who plays as a Stellar-Conduct support with a shield. His best-in-slot weapon is Summit Shaper, because it boosts both ATK and Shield Strength. The Normal Attack is the talent to level first, then the shield from his Elemental Skill. Because he appears on both Phase 1 banners, he is the easy extra to pick up while chasing Mitya or Furina.
