ARC Raiders: Where to Find Music Albums
If you’re working your way through the Flickering Flames Project during the Cold Snap event, sooner or later you’ll run into one frustrating bottleneck: Music Albums.
You only need two of them, but anyone who’s tried knows the truth these things never drop when you actually need them. Instead of running around topside aimlessly and hoping for RNG, here’s how to farm Music Albums efficiently, safely, and without wasting your time.
I’m writing this from the perspective of someone with 500+ hours in ARC Raiders, so this isn’t theory it’s what actually works in live raids.
What Are Music Albums Used For?
Music Albums are required for Step 5 (final step) of the Flickering Flames Project. Once you commit them, they’re permanently consumed, so you want to secure them cleanly and extract safely.
They count as trinket-type loot, which means:
They spawn in specific loot pools
They are tied to Residential and Commercial areas
They benefit from higher rarity conditions like Night Raids and Cold Snap
If you’re looting industrial zones or ARC-heavy areas, you’re already wasting time.
Best Places to Find Music Albums (Tested & Reliable)

Music Albums spawn where civilian life used to exist. Apartments, offices, desks, lockers, that’s your hunting ground.
The Blue Gate: Village (Best Overall)
If you want the highest consistency, go here.
The Village on The Blue Gate is stacked with:
Dense residential buildings
Multiple apartments per structure
High volume of searchable furniture
Focus on:
Dressers
Cabinets
Lockers
Suitcases
This location shines because you can clear multiple buildings quickly without deep ARC pressure. For solo Raiders, this is hands-down the safest and most reliable option.
Spaceport: Departure & Arrival Buildings

Spaceport is your Commercial loot jackpot, especially if you know where to look.
The Departure Building is my personal favorite:
Multiple floors
Office layouts
Tons of desks and drawers
The Arrival Building is also solid and often less contested. These buildings are excellent if you want to combine Music Album farming with XP, Merits, and general Cold Snap progress.
Pro tip: Clear floor by floor and don’t rush. Trinkets love desks.
Buried City: Plaza Rosa & Grandioso Apartments

Buried City is the classic trinket farm map and for good reason.
The southern part of the map is packed with:
Residential blocks
Commercial interiors
High loot density
Plaza Rosa is especially strong. The pharmacy alone has multiple dressers on the second floor that frequently roll trinket loot.
Grandioso Apartments are also reliable, but they’re more exposed, so plan your route and exits.
Hidden Gem: Buried City Hospital (Second Floor)
A lot of players completely miss this.
Even though the Hospital is classified as Medical, there’s a room on the north side of the second floor filled with lockers. These lockers regularly spawn trinket-type items, including Music Albums.
It’s not guaranteed, but when it hits, it hits hard.
When to Farm Music Albums (Timing Matters)
If you want to improve your odds, timing is everything.
Best Conditions:
Night Raids
Cold Snap active maps
Both increase overall item rarity, which means a higher chance of pulling rare trinkets like Music Albums. You won’t always find them faster but when you do, you’re more likely to find multiple in a single run.
Safe Extraction Tips (Don’t Lose Them)
This is important.
Music Albums should always go straight into your Safe Pocket. Bring:
A Safe Pocket Augment
Or plan your route so you extract early once you find one
There’s nothing worse than finally finding a Music Album and dying to frost damage, ARCs, or a third-party Raider on the way out.
