FC 27 Halloween Evolutions: Caps, Best Picks and Deadlines

FC 27's live evolution list on 31 October 2026 has a Halloween wave of seven new Evolutions, and the earliest ones expire within days. This is a quick guide to which positions they cover, what your card must be under to enter, and what to check before you start one.

I checked FUT.GG's live Evolutions page on 31 October. Several evolutions that other guides still name this week, such as Nine Duty, Speed Bump and the Future Stars Academy chain, were not on that live list when I looked. If a guide tells you to start one of those, confirm it in game first.

FC 27 Halloween evolutions: positions and entry caps

Every evolution here is a cap, not a minimum. A card above the overall (OVR) or pace limit cannot enter, and that is why strong cards rarely qualify.

Most of them also set a limit on PlayStyles and exclude a neighbouring position. Witching Hour, for example, excludes strikers and caps long shots and standing tackle, so check the requirement list on the evolution screen before spending a card.

Which one should you start first?

• Weakest spot is fullback: Creep Inside turns a fullback into an inverted midfield threat, while Side Stopper is the defensive pick. FUT.GG's example card for Side Stopper goes from 75 to 79 OVR.

• Weakest spot is centre back: Bone Builder has the biggest example jump of the defensive options, a 75 OVR centre back to 82 on FUT.GG's preview card.

• Midfield: Witching Hour and Center Spectre 2 both lift a 77 or 78 card to about 81 in FUT.GG's examples.

• Wingers: Rise From the Grave is the cheap dream for low-rated cards. FUT.GG's example takes a 60 OVR right midfielder to 80, but only cards at 74 or below qualify.

These example cards are FUT.GG's previews, not guarantees. Your card's result depends on its own stats, so read the upgrade list in game.

Deadlines: the part guides skip

FUT.GG shows countdown timers for each evolution. When I checked on 31 October, Side Stopper showed only hours on its first timer, Center Spectre 2 about 2 days, Creep Inside 3 days, Witching Hour 4 days, Bone Builder 7 days and False Seven 9 days, while Rise From the Grave showed about 26 days. I could not confirm whether the first timer is the last moment to start or the end of the whole event, so treat it as the deadline to be safe.

Rule of thumb: start the evolutions with the shortest timer first, then work down the list.

Do you need coins for evolutions?
