The named characters are free text rather than a filter, so read them on each shortlisted card. A box with a smaller count can still be the better fit when it holds the specific monsters the quest you are stuck on asks for.
Japan and Global
Region is the first thing to settle on a Monster Strike account, because it governs more than the language:
- The region decides which client the login opens.
- It decides which collaboration events the account has seen.
- It decides the language the interface is presented in.
- It decides which banners are running while you play.
- It does not change after the handover, so it is chosen once.
The Japanese Client
This is where MIXI runs the game and where most sellers list, so Japan accounts give the widest shortlist to compare orb balances across.

Does the listing say which monsters are on the account?
Yes. Alongside the count, sellers write out the notable characters by name, because a total says how many and not which ones, and matchups are what decide a quest in Monster Strike.
Can I switch the account to the other region?
No. The region comes with the account and is not something you change afterwards, so pick the listing that matches the client you want to play before you buy.
What if the account does not match the listing?
Open a dispute from your order panel while the warranty window is open. EB24 holds the payment and compares the region, orbs, 6-star monsters and named characters against what the seller declared.
