- 39,936 XP is the full level 1 to 30 climb in Riot's table.
- 176 XP is what an average Summoner's Rift game pays.
- ~227 games from a fresh account, roughly 125 hours.

Let Someone Else Play the 120 Hours
Nothing about level 30 is skill, it is time. Our boosters play the same normal games you would, by hand, on your account, at a pace no one grinding after work can match. You keep the account you already own, its name and its skins, and skip straight to the ranked queue. Orders run inside the platform, so you watch the level climb from your dashboard and EB24 holds the money until it is done.

Real hours from a fresh account, queue and loading included. ARAM pays far less per game than Summoner's Rift but finishes faster, so the two PvP modes cost almost the same time. Bot games lose out on both counts.

- Summoner's Rift (Normals) 227 games, 87 boosted
- ARAM 342 games, 117 boosted
- Co-op vs AI (Intermediate) 388 games, 128 boosted
Every headline figure on this page assumes no XP boosts, because boosts cost RP and run out. The second bar in each pair is the same climb with both store boosts running. What each boost does, what it costs and when it backfires is in the XP per game tab below.
How the LoL level 30 calculator works
Every estimate is a single sum over two published figures: the XP your level still owes from Riot's experience table, and what one average game actually pays. Here is the exact path from the level you type to the games, hours and days you read.
Enter your current summoner level — Type the level shown next to your icon in the client, anywhere from 1 to 29. That is the only figure we need. No Riot ID, no login, no client access. If you also tell us how many games you finish on a normal day, we turn the answer into a calendar.
We read the XP you still owe — Riot publishes the exact XP each summoner level costs. We hold that whole table, from the 144 XP of level 2 up to the 39,936 XP that sits behind level 30, and subtract the XP your current level already banked. What is left is your real remaining grind, not a flat average.
We divide by what one game actually pays — Account XP is paid by time in game: a win is worth seconds x 0.11 + 9.24, a loss seconds x 0.09 + 7.56. On a 28 minute Summoner's Rift game at an even win rate that averages 176 XP. Your remaining XP divided by 176 is your game count, rounded up because a half-finished game pays nothing.
Read the games, hours and days — You get the number of games left, the real-world hours behind them once queue and champion select are counted, and the calendar days at your stated pace. From there you either play it out, or hand the account to our leveling service and skip straight to ranked.
How the League of Legends Level System Works
Every normal game you finish pays account XP, and each summoner level costs more XP than the one before it. Level 30 is the gate on ranked Solo/Duo and Flex, which is why it is the level everyone counts toward. Riot publishes the cost of each level, so the distance left is a fixed number, not a guess.
For a fast feel: a fresh account owes 39,936 XP, and an average Summoner's Rift game pays about 176 XP. That is roughly 227 games, or 120 to 125 hours once queue and champion select are counted. Run the calculator above for your own level, then check what it costs to have it played for you.

Milestones on the way to level 30
Cumulative account XP and the game count behind each milestone, using the same table and the same 176 XP average game the calculator above runs on.
| Rank | Cumulative XP | Games from level 1 | What changes there |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 5 | 720 XP | ~5 games | Runes and the first summoner spells open up. |
| Level 10 | 3,360 XP | ~20 games | Bot games start paying reduced XP from here on. |
| Level 15 | 8,256 XP | ~47 games | Roughly the quarter mark of the grind, not the halfway point. |
| Level 20 | 16,080 XP | ~92 games | Level costs climb toward 2,000+ XP each from here. |
| Level 25 | 26,976 XP | ~154 games | The final five levels are the most expensive of the run. |
| Level 30 | 39,936 XP | ~227 games | Ranked Solo/Duo and Flex unlock, with 20 champions owned. |
Game counts assume normal Summoner's Rift at an even win rate and no XP boosts. With both boosts running the whole column drops by roughly 60 percent.
XP Per Game: What Each Mode Actually Pays
Riot pays account XP on a duration formula rather than a flat per-game amount. A win is worth seconds x 0.11 + 9.24 and a loss seconds x 0.09 + 7.56, which is why a long losing game can out-earn a quick win. Everything below follows from those two lines.
What moves your XP per game
- Game length. Every extra minute on the map is worth about 6.6 XP on a win and 5.4 XP on a loss. A 40 minute game pays close to double a 20 minute one.
- Win or loss. Worth roughly 35 XP on a typical Rift game. Real, but far smaller than the swing from game length.
- Your account level, if you queue bots. Co-op vs AI pays 100 percent of PvP rates below level 10, 90 percent to level 19, then 80 percent to level 29.
- A duration boost. It doubles the base XP of every finished game for a set number of calendar days, win or lose, and the Riot store sells it from 290 RP for a single day up to 3,490 RP for thirty.
- A per-win boost. It adds a flat 216 XP, and only on a win. Because the bonus is flat rather than a percentage it is worth relatively more in a short game, so it favours ARAM over a long Summoner's Rift game. It is sold in packs from 3 wins for 290 RP up to 40 wins for 2,240 RP.
- The two stack. Running both at an even win rate takes a normal Rift game from 176 XP to about 460, which is what turns a 227 game climb into roughly 87 games, or 125 hours into about 48.
What no longer helps, despite what older guides say
- First Win of the Day. Removed in patch V25.S1.1 on 7 January 2025 and replaced by a mission paying 50 Battle Pass XP. It gives zero account XP today.
- Daily bot farming past 180 minutes. Levels 20 to 29 drop from 80 percent to 65 percent of PvP rates once you cross that daily threshold.
- Playing in a premade. Party size does not change the account XP formula. It changes queue times, which is a real but separate effect.
Account XP by mode
Typical payouts at each mode's average game length. Per hour of real time the PvP modes land far closer together than the per-game numbers suggest. The calculator simplifies Co-op vs AI to the 20-29 bracket at every level.

Things that never change your account XP
Account XP is one of the few systems in League that ignores performance entirely. None of the following moves the number by a single point.
- Your KDA, CS, damage or vision score in the game.
- Which champion or role you played.
- Your rank, MMR or honour level.
- Whether you surrendered or played the game out to the nexus, beyond the minutes it saved or cost.
Modes, Regions and Where Leveling Applies
The XP table is identical on every region and in every PvP mode, so the grind to 30 is the same length whether you play EUW or Korea. What changes by region is queue time and our leveling turnaround, and what changes by mode is how long each game takes to pay out.

Leveling Strategy: Getting to 30 Without Wasting Hours
If you are playing the grind yourself, these are the levers that genuinely shorten it. They are ordered by how much time they save, not by how often they get repeated on forums.
Stack both XP boosts, but only before a session you will actually play
Leave bot games behind at level 10
Pick the mode you will keep queueing
Buy champions as you go, not at the end
Do not surrender purely for XP
Play it out if you enjoy the games. If you only want the ranked queue open, our LoL account leveling service covers the same distance without the 120 hours.
Level Your Account or Buy One Already at 30?
Both routes end with ranked unlocked, and they suit different players. The deciding question is whether you are attached to the account you already have.
- Level your own account when it is your main, carries skins or a name you want, or already sits part-way to 30. You keep everything and only buy back the time.
- Buy a ready account when you want a clean smurf on a new region, or when you want it today. There is nothing to wait for beyond delivery.
- Compare on total cost and turnaround, not on headline price. A level 25 account is cheap to finish and expensive to replace.
- Either way, check the Blue Essence. Ranked needs 20 champions, and a level 30 account without them is not actually ranked-ready.

How We Calculate Your Games to Level 30
The calculator is deliberately a single closed-form sum over two published figures rather than a prediction model. Everything it uses is listed below so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
The XP table comes from Riot
The average game is derived, not guessed
Games round up
Hours include the time around the game
Co-op vs AI uses one bracket, not four
Removed XP sources are excluded
These are planning figures, not a promise about one specific account. Your own game lengths, mode mix and any XP boosts will move the real number.
LoL boosting
Hand the leveling over instead
The estimate above turns your level into games, hours and days. Level up boosting turns it into an order: a booster hand plays the account to level 30 so it can queue ranked, with no scripts and no bots involved.
LoL level up boostingLoL level 30 and account leveling FAQ
The questions players ask most about reaching level 30: how many games it really takes, what each mode pays, which old XP bonuses no longer exist, and how our leveling service compares to grinding it yourself.
How many games does it take to reach level 30 in League of Legends?
From a brand new account it takes roughly 227 normal Summoner's Rift games. Level 30 sits behind 39,936 account XP in Riot's experience table, and an average 28 minute Rift game at an even win rate pays about 176 XP. If you are already part-way there, the calculator above subtracts the XP your current level has banked and gives you the real number left.
How long does it take to get to level 30 in LoL?
Around 120 to 125 hours of real time from level 1. That is the 227 games multiplied by roughly 33 minutes each once queue, champion select and loading are counted, not just the 28 minutes you spend on the map. At five games a day it works out to about a month and a half of daily play.
Does the First Win of the Day bonus still help me level up?
No, and this is where most level 30 guides are out of date. First Win of the Day was removed in patch V25.S1.1 on 7 January 2025 and replaced by a mission that pays 50 Battle Pass XP. It no longer gives the 400 account XP it used to, so it does nothing for your summoner level. Any calculator still adding it to your total is overstating your progress.
Are bot games a faster way to level to 30?
Only for the first ten levels. Co-op vs AI pays full PvP rates until level 10, then drops to 90 percent, and to 80 percent once you pass level 20. Play more than 180 minutes of bot games in a day and levels 20 to 29 fall to 65 percent. Since the last ten levels are also the most expensive, bot farming is at its weakest exactly where the grind is heaviest.
Is ARAM faster than Summoner's Rift for leveling?
Per game, no. Per hour, they are close to identical. Account XP is paid by time in game, so an 18 minute ARAM averages roughly 117 XP against 176 XP for a 28 minute Rift game. Because ARAM games and queues are shorter, the two modes come out nearly level per hour of real time. Pick whichever you enjoy more, the clock is the same.
Do XP boosts actually cut the grind?
Yes, meaningfully. A duration boost doubles the base XP of every game for a set number of days, and a per-win boost adds a flat 216 XP on a win. They stack, and running both takes a fresh account from about 227 Summoner's Rift games to 87, or 125 hours down to roughly 48. They cost RP, so the honest comparison is that RP plus the 48 hours you still have to play against having the account leveled for you. Note the per-win half pays nothing on a loss, so a bad run wastes what you paid for.
What do I actually unlock at level 30?
Ranked Solo/Duo and Flex queues, which is the whole point for most players. You also need at least 20 owned champions before ranked will let you queue, so plan Blue Essence alongside the levels. Everything else, runes and summoner spells, is already unlocked well before 30.
Is using an account leveling service safe?
Our leveling is done by hand, by vetted human boosters playing normal games at a human pace. We do not use bots or scripts, which are what actually triggers automated detection. Your account details stay encrypted, the booster is bound by our terms, and you can follow progress from your EB24 dashboard the whole way.
How long does your LoL leveling service take?
Far less than the 120 hours the grind costs you, because a booster plays in long focused sessions rather than a few games an evening. The exact turnaround depends on your starting level, the target level and your region, and you see the estimate before you pay. You can also add priority handling if you want it finished sooner.
Should I level an account or just buy one that is already 30?
Leveling keeps the account you already own, along with its name, skins and history, which matters if it is your main or a smurf you are attached to. Buying a ready level 30 account is faster and usually cheaper if you only want a fresh start with unlocked ranked. Both are on EB24, so compare the leveling service against the marketplace listings and pick on price and turnaround.
Does my win rate change how fast I level?
Barely. A win pays about 22 percent more account XP than a loss of the same length, so even a strong win rate only shaves a handful of games off the total. Game length matters far more than whether you won, which is why the calculator uses an even win rate rather than asking for yours.
Why does my level 30 estimate differ from other calculators?
Most of them use a flat "XP to 30" figure for everyone and several still count the removed First Win of the Day bonus. We subtract the exact cumulative XP your current level has already earned from Riot's published table, and we count only XP sources that still exist in the game today. That makes our number lower at high levels and more honest at low ones.
