EB24 LoverTeam plays TFT!
The days have passed and a lot has happened! All the students were very friendly and helpful to each other. They've learned a lot of new concepts and techniques, a lot of strategies and picks. Time passed so fast, things changed so smoothly.
School closed due to the Christmas Holidays but, on the last day of classes, the Professor proposed an adventure:
- As you know, tomorrow you're on your Christmas break. I was thinking and I discovered a new game we can play during the break, who is interested?
Everyone puts their hand in the air very excited.
- But what is this game, Professor? When can we meet up to play it? - Says Sharla.
- On this last class I will be teaching you the basics of this game and you'll practice at home. In 1 week we'll meet up and play a few games together, alright? - Says Mr. Stanbrough.
Everyone was very happy with the idea and quickly started getting ready to start learning what the game was about.
- So this new game is called, TFT. The full name is Teamfight Tactics. It's a board game that uses the same champions as League. You probably have seen it already, right? - Professor explains.
All students said that they've heard of it but never got the chance to play it.
Mr Stanbrough stood all class explaining and teaching all classes, origins, and traits to the students so they would know the basics of the game. The class was ending, only 2 minutes were left so the Professor ended the class saying:
- Alright, kids, the class is almost over. Sadly we didn't have much time to go deep into the details of this new game but I can see you're all ready to start practicing and you can always search for more information about the game at home. The school will be opened in a week since we still need to launch your grades so, pass by so we can play together and have some fun before Christmas Eve arrives, alright?
- Yes, teacher! - Everyone says. - See you in a week, guys! - All the students say goodbye to each other and go home.
A week goes by and the students practiced every day so they could be at least good at it. They have all met in the lobby and greeted each other. Professor joined them a few minutes after and said:
- Glad to see everyone was able to come! So let's start playing a few games?
Everyone said yes and they head to a classroom and started playing against each other.
A few hours passed and they were having a lot of fun! Everyone had improved a lot and discovered many mistakes they were doing. While discussing the games, Sharla had an idea.
- Guys, I just got an idea! How about we create a tournament?
- What a great idea Sharla. Now I can beat more people! Ha Ha Ha - said Ory laughing.
- Don't be mean Ory, we're gonna have fun! - said Kevin feeling a bit attacked by Ory's words.
Everyone agreed but they found a small flaw in this idea: they weren't enough to create a tournament...
- Hmm... We need more people... How about we invite more people to the tournament? - says Robin.
- That is exactly what I was thinking Robin. - says Mr. Stanbrough
- Exactly! Let's invite more people to the village! - says Sharla. - we need to set a lot of things for this to work. Everyone, please share your ideas and opinion on this so I can write it down and we can start working on sharing this tournament.
Everyone started thinking and step by step, the ideas were being created and suggested.
- I think we need a minimum of 32 participants so we can actually have a good tournament – says Kevin. - even if we have more people, we can always create another bracket for them!
Sharla wrote it down and continued waiting for more ideas from the class.
- Maybe do the tournament next week? How about 28th December at 19:00PM CET / 12:00AM EST / 9:00AM PST? - Says Ory.
- Good date Ory, please write it down Sharla, let's set that as the date for our tournament – says the Professor while Sharla noted the date.
- But there's an issue... How do we know which people can join the tournament? What will be the requirement to join? - Asked Kevin.
- Good question Kevin. In my opinion, since the tournament will be already only for villagers, they need to be villagers who have spent a minimum of 50EUR/USD on EB24 services, what do you think? - Explained Robin.
- Good one Robin, I will not everything here. And where will the tournament be done? Which server? EUW, no? - says Sharla.
- Yes, Sharla, in EUW it's the best option, even if they are from other servers, what we will do is play the whole tournament with EB24 accounts from EUW, this way everyone can participate. - claims Professor.
- Also, we need to inform the villagers that they need to go into our Discord Server and we create a channel just for this tournament, what do you think? Maybe call it “TFT-tournament”. - Says Kevin.
They were all cheered with everyone's ideas and suggestions, the tournament was something almost done, but there were a few things still missing.
- Wait, wait, guys... But what will be the prizes? And what will happen if the villagers need help and a bit of coaching? - Said Professor.
- That's easy teacher! We can teach the villagers, we give them a 5 minutes coaching before the game. This way, they'll have the information and it will help them win more easily. - says Sharla.
- And about the prizes, I have an idea, I mean a suggestion of course... What do you think about this?
Kevin started writing the prizes for the 3 first places. Here's what he wrote:
«Possible prizes:
- 1st place: LoL account - Value: no less than 80 EUR/USD + 3 hours of coaching with a challenger booster + Little Legends Series 4 Star Guardian Egg + Discord role “TFT Winner 2019”
- 2nd place: EB24 LoL account + 2 hours coaching + Little Legends Series 4 Star Guardian Egg + Discord role “TFT Winner 2019”
- 3rd place: 2 hours of coaching + Little Legends Series 4 Star Guardian Egg + Discord role “TFT Winner 2019”»
- What do you think, guys? I think these are good prizes, no? - Asks Kevin.
- Great prizes indeed Kevin, good job, let's go with those! - says Professor and everyone agreed.
Step by step, this tournament was almost set to stone. Everyone was very happy with the results and Sharla added the final idea to make this tournament a monthly event.
- Very nice, with a monthly tournament, we will surely be seeing a lot of winners throughout the months! Very good job guys! We will now post some posters announcing this tournament and let's wait for the villagers to submit and start this tournament on 28th December! - says Professor.
With all set, the class started posting images towards this tournament and divulging through the villagers. Afterward, the whole class headed home waiting for the huge day to start!
