EB24 about Teamfight Tactics #10 - Current meta on Patch 10.2 from a Booster perspective
Patch 10.2 introduced some pretty big system and item changes to TFT. After the complete domination of Blademaster Azir+Sivir comp previous patch, the meta has shifted somewhat this patch. Sivir as well the Blademaster trait got hit with some nerfs, which has had a significant impact on the power of Sivir and Friends comp.

Bramble Vest Damage: 80/120/160 ⇒ 100/140/200
Bloodthirster Lifesteal: 40% ⇒ 50%
Guinsoo’s Rageblade Attack Speed per stack: 4% ⇒ 5%
Hextech Gunblade Omnisteal: 25% ⇒ 33%
Iceborn Gauntlet Freeze Duration: 1.5 seconds ⇒ 2.5 seconds
Locket of the Iron Solari Shield Value: 250/275/300 ⇒ 250/275/350
Luden’s Echo Damage: 120/160/200 ⇒ 125/175/250
Traits
Desert: Armor Reduction: 50%/90% ⇒ 40%/100%
Inferno: Damage: 70%/140%/210% ⇒ 70%/150%/250%
Mage: (6) Mages: 100% Chance to Double Cast ⇒ 100% Chance to Double Cast & 20 AP to all Mages
Shadow: Bonus Damage Duration: 5 seconds ⇒ 6 seconds | Bonus Damage: 65%/150% ⇒ 65%/175%
Warden: Armor Bonus: 150%/300%/450% ⇒ 150%/300%/999%
Woodland: Having 6 gives them all a clone.
Champion Balance
Leona Damage Reduction: 40/90/140 ⇒ 40/80/120 The best early game tank as her ability negated immense amounts of damage. This nerf will help, but she will definitely remain a strong early game pickup.
Malzahar Minion health: 250/250/250 ⇒ 250/300/400 Received a buff last patch and with another buff this patch, his minions will scale with level.
Karma Attack Speed Bonus: 60/70/80 ⇒ 40/60/80 Has seen play in many many builds as she provides defensive ability with mystic and offensive ability with her ability. This nerf will tune down her power level.
Veigar Spell Damage: 300/600/900 ⇒ 325/650/975 Getting a small buff to his damage, which scales with Shadow.
Ezreal Ability Damage: 200/400/800 ⇒ 225/450/900 Health: 600 ⇒ 650 Received another buff this patch increasing his ability damage. The buff to his health also helps his survivability as a second carry role.
Sion Mana: 50/125 ⇒ 75/125 A small but nice buff which will allow him to cast faster.
Sivir Bounces: 10/10/10 ⇒ 5/7/9 This nerf will definitely make it harder for those who want to force Sivir and Friends every game, and will for sure bring the comp down from S tier.
Olaf Attack Speed: 0.85 ⇒ 0.8 Attack speed nerf. He will take longer to cast his ability and his ability, which scales off his attack speed, will also be weaker. Berserkers have taken a solid hit to their main carry.

Light Azir

When to go?
If you are able to get an early Spatula, which you are going to use to turn Azir into a Light unit. Early game you want to start picking up all the Light units, and slowly start building your comp. Azir is going to be your main carry, and you want to stack him with items like Jeweled Gauntlet, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Rabadon’s Deathcap. Second most important unit in your comp is Yorick, and you want to give him Guardian Angel, Redemption.
Rangers-Poison

When to go?
Rangers are still very strong, and still S tier comp that you want to run in Patch 10.2. If you start your game with some Bows-Bf swords. Early game you can use Kog'Maw and Predators, they can provide you a strong start, mid-game you should start picking up core pieces for your comp and based on what you get and how fast transition out of Predators. As well-paired Rangers + Wardens can be used for early game. Twitch should be your main carry, so stack him with Infinity Edge-Last Whisper, Ashe can be used as your second carry, Statikk Shiv works good on her, as well Red Buff+Hurricane can help a lot. Any other items that you can’t use can go on your front line, such as Morello, Frozen Heart, Redemption.
Six Mages - 4 Oceans

When to go?
If you are able to get a spatula to turn Malphite into Mage. This comp can be really strong since it provides you with a lot of CC and damage with the right items. You want to prioritize Mage spatula since otherwise, you won’t be able to go for this comp. Try to get many rods+tears as possible. Early game start building your comp around Thresh, Vladimir, Syndra, Taliyah and add Nautilus for 3 mages- 4 oceans - 2 wardens.
Shadow-Inferno-Lunar

When to go?
This is my favorite comp to go for patch 10.2. It’s very flexible in terms of units, you can start it early from pretty much any opening as long you have item parts for Kindred. I prefer stacking her with Infinity Edge+Jeweled Gauntlet, for the last item you can pick between Seraph’s Embrace or Rapid Firecannon.
