GTA 6 Key Dates
June 25, 2026: pre-orders opened.
November 12, 2026: pre-load starts on both consoles, a full week before launch.
November 19, 2026: launch day.
November 20, 2026: last day to get the Vintage Vice City Pack, which comes with any pre-order or purchase made before then.
What Is in Each Edition
Rockstar has confirmed only two editions. There is no Special Edition and no Collector's Edition.
The Standard Edition is the full game. The Ultimate Edition adds an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and in-game content across the story. Reported highlights include a classic Vapid Stanier sedan, a Vice City garage, themed outfits and a weapon livery inspired by Tommy Vercetti's shirt.
Both editions get the Vintage Vice City Pack if you order before November 20, so you do not need the Ultimate Edition for the pre-order bonus.
Digital pre-orders also come with a free month of GTA+. If you play GTA Online, that matters. If you do not, it is a nice extra rather than a reason to choose digital.
Disc or Digital? There Is No Disc
Rockstar has confirmed that physical copies of GTA 6 will not contain a disc. The box holds a download code. Either way, you are downloading the game, which is another reason pre-load on November 12 is worth using.
Is GTA 6 on PC?
