How Elo Boosters win games
The way that Elo Boosters win their games is simple: Be Diamond 1 (minimum), Practise, Duo with another Booster, Play an OP role or with an OP champion.
To be a Booster you need to be a very skilled player and so that means you’ll win a lot of games in lower Elo. Being skilled and having an OP champion to play with, makes the job 1000x times better and easier for Elo Boosters to win and finish orders.
We know that it may not look that simple, but it is! Also, Boosters usually go duo with another Booster so they can stomp from 2 roles in the same game and snowball for an early win. It makes Boosting way faster and makes them earn way more per hour than if they went all alone.
What is the new meta on League?
There’s never „the new meta” on the league since the game is always being updated and patched every 2 weeks. There are always good meta on League and there are always OP champions/roles too!
The Meta on League switches very fast and so there is never a stable meta that is established in the game and that is what makes League so fun to play! Since it’s always changing, everyone can enjoy the ride!
Also, the Meta changes for each role so we can’t say that there is „the Meta” on League. But if we were to describe the Meta on League as a whole is: a lot of fighting early games, objectives like drakes, Herald and Turret Plating’s are very strong now and very precious to the development of your in-game experience!
Do patches affect Boosting?
Depends. As stated above, patches may change the meta, not only for the whole game but also specifically for a role. It will depend a lot on what will be patch do.
Patches may „shake” some OP champions abused by some Boosters, but they will adapt to the new changes from the patch and find another OP champion to abuse and win the games again. As patches can shake some champions, it can also bring some „dead” or weak champions from the ashes.
The question can go both ways. As for patches can affect a specific booster because his main champion got nerfed or the opposite, a booster’s main champion got buffed and now he wins even faster and more games!
If a champion gets nerfed, Boosters will adapt and find another way to win games using other champions. The same happens when a champion gets buffed, Boosters will simply abuse it!
I'm in Elo hell, how to improve?
Well, the first step is to acknowledge that we’re stuck and that it may (or may not) be our team’s fault! You should ask yourself a few important questions:
- Am I playing a meta champion?
- Do I have a good champion pool?
- Am I dying too much?
- Do I flame while playing?
- Am I taking breaks between games?
We know that you may find stupid, but you can only control yourself when playing so flaming is a NO-NO to climbing. It’ll only get you restricted and/or even banned if you’re extremely negative.
The way to improve is to look around you and see what YOU are doing wrong. Why are others climbing and you’re not? Are you perhaps playing a non-meta champion? Or perhaps you’re a One Trick Pony and the champion you main isn’t good with the League’s meta?
There are a lot of questions and ways to improve. First, look at your champion pool, see if that is what it is meta. Look what the Pro Players play and what has the highest win rate at the moment. If you aren’t playing any champion that is on the meta now, you have your first thing to improve.
If you’re playing meta champions but still managed to get stuck, perhaps you’re the one misplaying the role or the champion. For example, you can’t play a peel champion like Lulu or Janna and be on a front line on a fight, you’ll insta die and ultimately lose the game all alone because of it. You need to know your champion’s strong and weak points, how you should be positioning and what can the enemy team do to stop you from winning the game.
These are just a few things you can tickle that may help you improve but if you still see you can’t climb, we know that coaching is a very helpful way to climb since you’ll get a skilled player telling you what you should and shouldn’t do in-game. There’s no better wat to improve than to know EXACTLY what you’re doing wrong!
