Seller ranks

Seller rank reflects sales volume, ratings, and activity. The requirements are:

Top Seller:

• 250+ sales
• 4.8+ average rating
• 50+ reviews
• Active in the last 30 days

Mythic Seller:

• 1500+ sales
• 4.9+ average rating
• 200+ reviews
• Top Seller for 90+ days

Manual promotion can be considered as an exception, for example for wholesalers with a large stock of accounts for games we are actively looking for.

A Top Seller or Mythic Seller rank gives you:

• The rank badge on your listings and seller profile.
• A place in the Top Seller filter and in the rows that feature Top Sellers on game pages.
• The 14-day Extended Warranty on your listings instead of the 7-day Basic Warranty.
• Higher placement in marketplace search.
• Lower marketplace fees. See Fees for the rates.
• A higher limit on the number of galleries you can create.

Sellers who stop meeting the criteria are demoted:

• Mythic Seller: no sales for 60 days, or rating drops below 4.7 (with 50+ reviews)
• Top Seller: no sales for 90 days, or rating drops below 4.5 (with 30+ reviews)

Before a demotion for missing these criteria you get a demotion notice by email. If you meet the criteria again within 7 days, the notice is cleared and you keep your rank. A rank drop caused by a strike works differently and is described below.

Strikes affect your rank in two ways. Every strike lowers your seller score by 200 points for 30 days, which can move you down a rank until the strike expires. At the lower rank you lose the benefits of the rank you held, including its fee rate on new listings. Some strikes also pause your rank for a set number of days. During the pause your listings show as Regular Seller and lose the rank's badge, search placement, Extended Warranty and gallery limit. The pause on its own does not change your fee rate. Listings from Regular Sellers carry a 7-day Basic Warranty. Listings from Top Sellers and Mythic Sellers carry a 14-day Extended Warranty. The warranty is fixed at the moment the buyer pays, based on the rank your listings show then, so a sale made while your rank is paused carries the Basic Warranty. Beyond the warranty period, sellers remain responsible for keeping the account secure: accounts reclaimed or compromised at any time after the sale may result in penalties, including deduction of earnings.

Listings without seller action enter warning stages at 60, 67, and 70 days of inactivity. Hidden listings are removed from search, and stale listings may be deleted after extended inactivity. Edit the listing, change price, confirm availability, or reply to buyer chat to reset the timer.
