General League of Legends Teamfight Tactics Valorant

New Placement Matches Policy for LOL, TFT, Valorant

The gaming world is always evolving, and with it, the policies that shape our play. Recently, significant updates have been made to the placement match policies for popular games like League of Legends (LoL), Teamfight Tactics (TFT), and Valorant. Understanding these changes, particularly regarding Matchmaking Rating (MMR) and rank alignment, is crucial for players aiming to maximize their gaming experience.

Last Known Rank Clarification

A key aspect of these updates is the alignment of the account's MMR with the order requirements. For instance, if you're playing on a Diamond account with Master MMR in LoL, you should select Master as your last known rank. This clarification ensures fair and balanced matchmaking in placement matches.

Guaranteed Wins Policy in League of Legends

In LoL, the new policy introduces a system of guaranteed wins for placement matches. The policy stipulates that:

  • For 5 placement matches, players are guaranteed 4 wins (Unranked to Master) and 3 wins (Grandmaster and Challenger).
  • This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

Guaranteed Wins Policy in Teamfight Tactics

In TFT, the new policy introduces a system of guaranteed wins for placement matches. The policy stipulates that:

  • For 5 placement matches, players are guaranteed 4 wins (Unranked to Master) and 3 wins (Grandmaster and Challenger).
  • This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

tftfinal.jpg 279.33 KB

Guaranteed Wins Policy in Valorant

Valorant, too, has adopted a similar policy

  • Players can expect 4 guaranteed wins for 5 placement matches in ranks up to Immortal and 3 wins at Radiant.
  • As with LoL and TFT, the number of guaranteed wins adjusts according to the number of placement matches.

valorantfinal.jpg 241.26 KB

👉
Should the guaranteed win count not be met, players will receive wins equal to their losses. However, it's important to note that compensation will not exceed a full division if the total win rate is 50% or above. This safeguard ensures that players are fairly compensated while maintaining the integrity of the ranking system. This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

Conclusion

As we embrace these new placement match policies across LoL, TFT, and Valorant, players need to stay informed and adapt their strategies accordingly. These changes not only bring a new level of excitement and challenge to the games but also ensure fairness and competitiveness in the ranking system. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, these policies are set to impact your gaming journey significantly. Remember, these updates are designed with your gaming success in mind. By understanding and leveraging them, you can optimize your gameplay and enjoy a more satisfying competitive experience. So, gear up for the new season, keep these changes in mind, and get ready to climb the ranks with confidence and strategy! 🚀🎮🏆

EB24 about League of Legends #16 Itemization, Patch 10.3 - from the Booster perspective

The new meta guide is already live so if you want to learn for the best items on the meta champions for this patch, you're in the right place, check them down below!

  • Top

Tank builds stay the say you still build the same order as described in patch 10.1. However, I didn’t really talk in-depth about Mordekaiser and Kled so I wanted to mention it there.

First, you either go Doran's shield or ring depends if you can win fights early or you prefer to stay healthy after a fight. Then after your first back choose one from items showed you should only go full tabis after first back if you’re barely keeping with enemy trades usually you go seeker into haunting guise into tabis to maximize your dmg and tankiness. Kindlegem if you’re planning to go protobelt first. As for boots, you go sorcerer’s only if you’re ahead tabi if the enemy is ad and mercury if they have a lot of cc. Build example is a standard if you’re not good at understanding what item is best to buy depending on the situation. Essentially you want to build more of utility/armor pen items rather than full ap or full tank items as you have a lot of base dmg already and you get enough tankiness through your kit.

The situational items are as presented, Hextech Gunblade for more healing/glacial rune page, Morello if the enemy has a lot of healing, Nashor's Tooth is good for dueling someone who has lots of mobility to dodge your q’s, Zeke is good as the last item it helps you in team fight after you get someone to realm you get the passive which deals massive damage itself and slows your enemy, twin shadow possible 3rd item if you’re going glacial rune page.

You should just follow the build there are not a lot of variations it usually stays like this every game. Just change between mercury and tabi’s depend on who you face. Get Tiamat, tabi’s and phage first before moving to complete all items. For situational items, you want to go if Maw if the enemy has a lot of ap, you can even go for it first item after Tiamat if the enemy has 3+ ap’s. If they have only 2 and they’re fed skip the Sterak’s and go for Maw instead. Adaptive helmet is a more tanky version of maw and you can go sterak’s as well then since you don’t have conflicted passives. Going essence reaver instead of the Black cleaver is an option if you’re really ahead of the enemy and can kill them easily. Same situation with Ghostblade. Just remember to get Tiamat before those items.

  • Jungler

Here's the best builds for the champions presented on our Tier list:

1. Sett:

Cinderhulk > Triforce > Streaks Gage > Boots depends on the enemy (armor or MR) > Guardian Angel

2. Graves:

For Graves, I have 3 builds:

First build:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Phantom Dancer > Infinity Edge > Deaths Dance > Boots depends

Second build:

Warrior > Drakthar > Youmuu's > Edge of Night > Mortal Reminder > Boots depends

Third build:

Warrior > Stormrazor > Cloak of Agility > Cloak of Agility > Cloak of Agility > Rapid Fire cannon > Infinity Edge > Phantom dancer

This build is for %100 crit and is built for almost every crit champion.

3. Nidalee:

Runic Echo > Sorcerer's boots or Oblivion Orb > Lich bane > Rabadon or Zhonya > Rabadon or Void staff

If they have +2 assassins (like Zed or Kha), you can go oblivion orb and Zhonyas. If +3 enemy has +120 MR go for void staff, not Rabadon.

4. Ekko:

Runic echos > Protobelt > Zhonyas > Lich bane=Rabadon > If they have +2 Hard cc champs buy mercs

5. Lee Sin:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Sterak's Gage > Guardian Angel > A tank item depends on enemy > Boots depends too

6. Nocturne:

Warrior > Sanguine Blade > Black Cleaver > Guardian Angel > Edge of Night > Boots depends

7. Rek'Sai:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Sterak's Gage > Guardian Angel > Depends on the game, you can either go offensive item or defensive > Boots depends too

8. Kha'Zix:

Warrior > Drakthar > Black Cleaver > Edge of Night > Guardian Angel > boots depend

9. Ornn:

Cinderhulk > Abyssal Mask > Ice Born Gauntlet

10. Vi:

Warrior > Trinity Force > GA or streaks gage if they have too much burst > Armor or Mr item depends on the enemy team

11. Sylas:

Runic echoes > Sorcerer's boots > Hextech Protobelt > Zhonyas (very important) > Lich Bane > Rabadons Deathcap

12. Sejuani

Cinderhulk > Warmog's > Gargoyle > Rest is adaptive tank items

  • Mid

Items for mid lane are similar:

If your champions is AP:

- Archangel's Staff& Rod of Ages (Best on Cassio, Ryze, Kassadin)

- Morellonomicon

- Zhonya's Hourglass (Best vs AD and burst champions and for Fizz)

- Hextech Gunblade (Best on Kata)

- Rylai's Crystal Scepter (Best on Cassio)

- Hextech Protobelt-01 (Best on Ekko, Sylas, Fizz)

- Luden's Echo (Best on Sylas and Syndra)

If your champion is AD:

Lethality items are very optional, if you are ahead you go for:

-Youmuu's Ghostblade & Duskblade of Draktharr and finish with GA or Last Whipser

If not:

Duskblade of Draktharr & Edge of Night/ Sanguine Blade

Situational:

If you have mountain drakes, Banshee's Veil is makes you stronger and gives you a lot of MR (especially good vs AP mid & top/jungle). Build a Liandry's Torment if you're against tanks.

  • ADC

The items for ADC haven't vary much from the last patch but here's the build path for each one.

Aphelios: Essence Reaver, Runnan, Infinity, Phantom Dancer

Senna: Manamune, Duskblade, Yommu/Edge of the night (depends on the comp), Infinity edge

Miss Fortune: Essence Reaver, Infinity Edge, Rapid Fire Canon, GA/Phantom Dancer/Maw

Caitlyn: Stormrazor> Infinity Edge> Rapid Fire Cannon, after it you can go for a situational item or another crit.

Lucian: Botrk> Essence Reaver> Infinity Edge/ Phantom Dancer/ Rapid Fire Cannon> GA/MAW/BT

Jhin: Stormrazor> Rapid Fire Cannon> Infinity Edge> PH/MAW/GA

Situational Items

Every ADC after 2/3 core items, have to decide to pick up some items from list below

1. Maw of Malmortius

Strong vs AP Teamcomps, gives AD, CDR, MR, with a passive that gives you shield, lifesteal and AD.

2. Phantom Dancer

Items that gives you AS/CRIT/MS and shield vs both types of damage, useful on ADC that builds crit items (Tristana, Aphelios, Xayah, Miss Fortune, Draven)

3. Guardian Angel

After getting killed, you getting respawned with 50% of your base hp, gives AD/ARMOR. Very good item vs strong assassins

4. Quicksilver Sash

Item that remove one CC, useful vs team comps with a lot of CC or vs CC that will kill you when you will get them (Malzahar, Leona, Warwick, works vs Mordekaiser ult as well)

5. Bloodthirster

Gives AD/Lifesteal, passive that grants you shield, good on champions that need lifesteal but aswell they depend more on AD than attack speed (Draven)

6. Lord Dominik's Regards

Gives AD/ ARmor pen, good vs tanks, when you don't play a champion that have % dmg, like Kai'Sa, Kog'maw, Vayne

7. Mortal Reminder

Gives AD/Armor pen, 10% less armor pen than Lord Dominik's, but your auto attacks apply Grievous Wounds

  • Support

The best items for support are:

Gargoyle Stone Plate: I usually don't build this item in solo queue but I been trying it out recently and it helps out to tank for your teammates and live enough to cc the right targets, although this item is exclusive for Nautilus, Leona and Thresh, you can give it a try on another champ like Shen, Blitz and Tham Kench.

Zeke's: Standard 1st item for any tank support, it gives armor, MR, mana, cdr and the useful active bonus damage and aoe slow for you and your linked partner.

Knights Vow: Good defensive armor item, armor, hp, and cdr plus the link shared damage passive for your teammates.

Solari: Standard 2 or 3rd item (1st if enemy team comp is heavy magic damage) it gives heavy MR, decent armor and the active aoe shield for your teammates that scales whit levels and hp

Redemption: Usually the last item you get on supports unless you really ahead off lane or rotations, it gives cdr, mana regen HP, and the active heal aoe plus empowers shielding and healing on certain supports.

EB24 about League of Legends #15 Current meta, Patch 10.3 - from the Booster perspective

Patch 10.3 is already live and there's a lot of topics to talk and new changes that will be changing a few tier lists! Here are the best meta champions for each role on this patch:

  • Top

With patch 10.3 there are no changes to the tier list of top lane. The only affected top lane champions in this patch are Rumble and Sett.

Rumble got a little nerf on his W and sett got W nerfs as well. However, both are not significant enough to make them move out of the league they’re in. I’m also not gonna include the recent picks such as Sona and Soraka on the top lane as these are pretty placebo picks.

I’ve talked about this few months ago about Soraka being the strongest top laner in the game as she had the ability to beat any meta top laner from that time but now she is more of heal machine than a lane bully now as she lost a lot of q dmg and had e cooldown increased. The reason why these picks are good on the pro scene is that top lane is not about being 1v9 like in SoloQ. Top lane has a really low impact on the game and it mostly depends on which one of them gets fed.

For example, you won’t really get fed on Darius in competitive and 1v3 enemies because pro players are more coordinated in teamplay than people from soloq. In conclusion as a top laner in soloq, you want to be able to carry a game by being a solid heavy dmg bruiser/tank rather than be a useful healer/second support that has a good laning phase. As final words, there won’t be as there are no changes on top lane this patch I won’t really get into details on the champions and their builds. Please refer for info on what to pick to our blog from patch 10.1 and 10.2. However, in the upcoming 10.4 patch there seems to be some interesting changes to Sunfire Garen and “potentially” finally we will see the Wukong mini rework.

Top Tier list

Main Runes

Mordekaiser

Recently I’ve implemented a new build against ranged champions. As Mordekaiser doesn’t have any gap closer beside his e and using ultimate it’s sometimes hard to deal with a ranged champion. However, once you hit your e you can remove the ability of enemy ranged champion to run away but implementing just one auto-attack.

Magical footwear will give you a little extra speed as well and will save you 300 gold, future’s market will allow u to get your item components faster and the approach velocity will make sure the enemy won’t run. So you have a slowing glacial and 3 sources of bonus movement speed: passive, boots and velocity.

This will make your enemies unable to run away from you. As for secondary runes you want to take second wind for healing from their poke and revitalize for bonus healing and shielding from w. The biggest benefit however going this build is the ability to skip the Rylai's as you will have enough slow on w and enough speed from other sources. The downside is, of course, the lack of that damage from Conqueror and healing and being unable to use the action items for glacial poke, unless you go for Hextech Gunblade (refer to itemization post for further info)

Kled

These are still the best. Press The Attack against ranged and Conqueror against melee.

  • Jungler

10.3 has some nice buffs to jungle role but some champs are nerfed. Farmer jungle meta is slowly coming back but small buffs to Krugs are not enough for it. Sett and Ekko nerfs are pretty harsh, especially for Ekko. His early way to weak now. Sejuanis's attack speed buff puts her into a playable state. She can match early game junglers like Lee.

  • Mid

Patch 10.3 brought us a few buffs and nerfs for mid laners. A few control mid laners got buffed such as Azir, Corki and Galio meanwhile the ones that are dominating at the time being got a little nerfed like Akali and Diana. These buffs are simply not changing anything in the current mid lane meta for SoloQ. Hard snowballing champs with roaming potential just dominate this lane for a long time and just don't want to retire. Even with this buffs all the control champs like Ziggs, Azir, Orianna got too much punishment for assassins. The only nerf that is crucial in this patch is Akali q Energy cost form 100 to 120 at LVL 1. It's a huge deal in early laning faze that why we change a tier list a bit. Ekko got just nerfed for jungle monsters so we don't care about his placement at the mid lane.

Mid Tier List

Highlights for this patch:

Electrocute Qiyana – manage to be still one of the strongest picks. From the perspective of a mid laner player, these champions are just too OP. It has everything… Dash, snare, stun, stealth, roam potential even wave clear, but I think everyone is realizing that so if u can play qiyana effectively it's one of the best climbing choices.

Conqueror Diana – she manages to be the hipper pick. If Diana is Ahead she can just carry every team fight and win duels. She is pretty tanky champ with a lot of dmg incoming from nowhere so that players with a lot of experience can make their favor.

Electrocute LeBlanc – I think she is a little underrated. This champion has very strong LVL 3 and I played her a few times recently and I personally think she can be a decent pick vs Diana due to her ability to go back to the first ‘’W’’ use. The problem with lb is that if u are not snowballed you are not as effective as for example Cassio/Ryze/Qiyana because lack of cc and wave clear can be problematic in later stages of the game.

We rather come back to Phase Rush from Conqueror for Cassio and Ryze. (Runes #3)

Runes #1 are for Talon, Ekko, Fizz, Qiyana, Syndra

Runes #2 are for Kassadin, Katarina, Diana, Sylas, Yasuo

1. Runes #1:

First Rune: Domination

Going for:

- Electrocute

- Sudden Impact

- Eyeball Collection

- Ravenous Hunter

Second Rune: Inspiration

- Biscuit Delivery

- Time Warp Tonic

2. Runes #2:

First Rune: Precision

Going for:

- Conqueror

- Presence of Mind

- Legend: Tenacity

- Coup de Grace

Second Rune: Domination

- Taste of Blood

- Ravenous Hunter

3. Runes #3:

First Rune: Sorcery

Going for:

- Phase rush

- Manaflow band

- Transcendence

- Gathering storm

Second Rune: Domination

- Taste of Blood

- Ravenous Hunter

  • ADC

On this patch, there weren't any changes on ADC. The role continues basically the same for the S-tier and for the A-tier we see Jinx falling from it and the comeback of Jhin into the list!

ADC Tier List

Here are the best runes for each ADC:

1. Aphelios:

Second Rune: Sorcery

  • Support

Currently, tank engage support are the strongest, followed by defensive supports and lastly ranged supports. Teams require a hard engage since there is so much damage in the game and junglers can once again play as carry's with the jungle XP buffs, so either pick a tanky engage support or defensive tank support if you want to climb the ladder.

EB24 ABOUT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS #14 - PATCH RUNDOWN 10.3 - FROM A BOOSTER PERSPECTIVE
League of Legends

EB24 ABOUT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS #14 - PATCH RUNDOWN 10.3 - FROM A BOOSTER PERSPECTIVE

This patch is all about jungle and Akali. Almost every other change is a filler. Here's the rundown:

Champions

  • Akali

Q - FIVE POINT STRIKE

COST 100/95/90/85/80 energy ⇒ 120/115/110/105/100 energy

W - TWILIGHT SHROUD

MOVEMENT SPEED IN SHROUD 20/25/30/35/40% movement speed ⇒ 30/35/40/45/50% decaying movement speed for 2 seconds on cast

R - PERFECT EXECUTION

R1 TARGETING Target direction ⇒ Targeted enemy champion

NEWR1 TARGET RANGE 675

R1 DASH DISTANCE 675-825 based on distance from the enemy

Energy nerf on her q is just to harsh. She cant use her third Q until her LVL 5. Also, her LVL 1 cheese is gone too. But that nerf hurts her laning more than anything. W change is a big filler in my opinion so I'm going to past that. But R nerf is pretty harsh. Her playmaking ability and mobility is almost gone with that nerf. She cant escape any ganks with that ultimate also she can't R if she doesn't see the enemy.R nerf doesn't affect her laning if it's 1v1.

But of course, she is still strong even with that nerfs. Her kit is still broken and her melee matchups are still cheese for her.

  • Aphelios

Q - CALIBRUM, THE SNIPER RIFLE

MARKED ENEMY ATTACK RANGE Infinite ⇒ 1800

This nerf doesn't change anything.

  • Azir

BASE STATS

MANA 438 ⇒ 480

R - EMPEROR'S DIVIDE

WALL LENGTH 5/6/7 soldiers ⇒ 6/7/8 soldiers

This mana buff is a filler change but I like the +1 soldier buff since it makes Azir much easier. But those changes are not enough for Azir to be played on soloq.

  • Corki

W - SPECIAL DELIVERY

DAMAGE PER SECOND RATIO 0.375 bonus attack damage, 0.05 ability power ⇒ 0.5 bonus attack damage, 0.06 ability power

BURN DURATION 1 second ⇒ 1.5 seconds

NEW CARRIER PIGEON Now slows champions that are directly hit and knocked aside for 1.5 seconds

Damage buff is not that important but the slow buff is insanely strong in my opinion.1.5 sec slow and so easy to apply. I think without a flash, you can't escape a gank from Corki with his package.

I think that makes Corki slightly playable on soloq but not S or A tier. Other mid champs are still destroying him in early and mid-game.

  • Diana

BASE STATS

MANA 420 ⇒ 375

W - PALE CASCADE

DAMAGE PER ORB 22/34/46/58/70 ⇒ 18/30/42/54/66

Nothing important here.

  • Ekko

PASSIVE - Z-DRIVE RESONANCE

RESONANCE STACK DAMAGE 200% against monsters ⇒ 150% against monsters

That hurts jungle Ekko's early game A LOT. Ekko was bad in the early game but now it's even worse. He can't match early game meta junglers like Lee and Elise due to this nerf. But still, he is crazy strong. If Ekko gets 2 items it's still the same.

  • Ezreal

BASE STATS

MANA GROWTH 42 ⇒ 50

ATTACK SPEED GROWTH 1.5% ⇒ 2.5%

Attack speed growth is nice but just a filler change again. It doesn't change anything.

  • Galio

Q - WINDS OF WAR

TORNADO DURATION 1.5 seconds ⇒ 2 seconds

TORNADO DAMAGE TICKS 3 ⇒ 4

Filler change again.

  • Leona

W - ECLIPSE

DAMAGE 60/100/140/180/220 ⇒ 60/95/130/165/200

E - ZENITH BLADE

DAMAGE 60/100/140/180/220 ⇒ 50/90/130/170/210

Filler change also.

  • Miss Fortune

BASE STATS

ATTACK SPEED GROWTH 3% ⇒ 2.25%

Filler change.

  • Rumble

BASE STATS

ARMOR 30.88 ⇒ 31

ATTACK DAMAGE 61.036 ⇒ 61

W - SCRAP SHIELD

BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED 20/25/30/35/40% (30/37.5/45/52.5/60% when enhanced) ⇒ 15/20/25/30/35% (22.5/30/37.5/45/52.5% when enhanced)

SHIELD 80/110/140/170/200 ⇒ 60/95/130/165/200

That one is pretty important for Rumble's laning phase. Although 20 damage shield nerfs seems like nothing it's pretty harsh nerf because rumble has very low cooldowns. Movement speed nerf hurts his both early and late game. Numbers are pretty harsh and hurt his mobility which is his only weakness. Still, he is playable they need to nerf him more.

  • Sejuani

BASE STATS

BONUS ATTACK SPEED 0% at level 1 ⇒ 10% at level 1

PASSIVE - FURY OF THE NORTH

FROST ARMOR REMOVAL Damage from epic monsters and enemy champions ⇒ Damage from all monsters and enemy champions

The attack speed buff is insane for her. Her early clear will be faster than ever. Armor removal does not matter because of that attack speed buff. I think she can pretty much match any early game jungle champs with that buff. She is playable if you are a tank player.

  • Senna

PASSIVE – ABSOLUTION

MIST WRAITH DROP CHANCE 20% on minions Senna doesn't kill, 100% on cannon minions Senna kills ⇒ 25% on minions Senna doesn't kill, 1.67% on cannon minions Senna kills

NEW MIST WRAITH DROP CHANCE (SPOILS OF WAR) Minion kills via Spoils of War (Relic Shield and Steel Shoulderguards UNIQUE) that Senna gets credit for now count as kills by Senna, reducing the drop chance to 1.67%

E - CURSE OF THE BLACK MIST

BUGFIX Allies camouflaged by Curse of the Black Mist no longer become invisible if Senna dies during the ability's effect

Filler nerf, she is still OP.

  • Sett

BASE STATS

HEALTH REGEN 9.25 ⇒ 8

W - HAYMAKER

COOLDOWN 16/14/12/10/8 seconds ⇒ 18/16.5/15/13.5/12 seconds

BASE DAMAGE 90/125/160/195/230 ⇒ 90/120/150/180/210

Base damage doesn't matter but cooldown nerf is harsh. W is his "go-to" skill and he needs spam it. That cooldown nerf is going to hurt him a lot in team fights.

I think he is still OP and playable but now you need to make better decisions with his W.

  • Sona

E - SONG OF CELERITY

SELF MOVEMENT SPEED 25% (+0.04 per 100 ability power) ⇒ 20% (+0.03 per 100 ability power)

Filler change.

  • Yuumi

Q - PROWLING PROJECTILE

EMPOWERED DAMAGE 50/95/140/185/230/275 (+0.4 ability power) ⇒ 45/80/115/150/185/220 (+0.4 ability power) (+0.02-0.08 of target's current health)

COST 85/90/95/100/105/110 mana ⇒ 90 mana at all ranks

W - YOU AND ME!

NEW Silence no longer counts as an immobilizing effect that places You and Me! on a 5 second cooldown

E - ZOOMIES

HEAL 70/110/150/190/230 (+0.3 ability power) ⇒ 70/94/118/142/166/190 (+0.4 ability power)

Filler change in my opinion.

Jungle Monsters

UNIQUE - Monster Hunter

LARGE MONSTERS EXP 50 ⇒ 60

FIRST LARGE MONSTER BONUS EXP 165 ⇒ 150

MINION GOLD PENALTY 10 less gold from lane minions if more than half of your farm gold is from minions; removed on item completion ⇒ 13 less gold from lane minions if more than half of your farm gold is from minions; removed at 14 minutes

  • Krugs

KRUG CAMP TOTAL EXP 160 ⇒ 175

KRUG CAMP TOTAL GOLD 125g ⇒ 135g

LARGE KRUG BASE EXP 55 ⇒ 37

MEDIUM KRUG BASE EXP 15 ⇒ 18

SMALL KRUG BASE EXP 10 ⇒ 14

LARGE KRUG BASE GOLD 65g ⇒ 42g

MEDIUM KRUG BASE GOLD 10g ⇒ 13g

SMALL KRUG BASE GOLD 5g ⇒ 9g

Red Brambleback and Blue Sentinel

BASE EXP 115 ⇒ 110

Monster EXP Level Scaling

LEVEL 4 1.025x ⇒ 1.075x

LEVEL 5-6 1.1x ⇒ 1.15x

Funnel is destroyed with that change. And secret buff for Krugs. Riot is trying to make farmers jungler great again but that's not enough. I think meta will be the same because that buff is weak compared to the jungle nerfs we had in the last seasons.I'm glad that they finally destroyed the funnel strat with that sharp nerf.

EB24 about Teamfight Tactics #10 - Current meta on Patch 10.2 from a Booster perspective

Patch 10.2 introduced some pretty big system and item changes to TFT. After the complete domination of Blademaster Azir+Sivir comp previous patch, the meta has shifted somewhat this patch. Sivir as well the Blademaster trait got hit with some nerfs, which has had a significant impact on the power of Sivir and Friends comp.

  • Important Changes

Items

Bramble Vest Damage: 80/120/160 ⇒ 100/140/200

Bloodthirster Lifesteal: 40% ⇒ 50%

Guinsoo’s Rageblade Attack Speed per stack: 4% ⇒ 5%

Hextech Gunblade Omnisteal: 25% ⇒ 33%

Iceborn Gauntlet Freeze Duration: 1.5 seconds ⇒ 2.5 seconds

Locket of the Iron Solari Shield Value: 250/275/300 ⇒ 250/275/350

Luden’s Echo Damage: 120/160/200 ⇒ 125/175/250

Traits

Desert: Armor Reduction: 50%/90% ⇒ 40%/100%

Inferno: Damage: 70%/140%/210% ⇒ 70%/150%/250%

Mage: (6) Mages: 100% Chance to Double Cast ⇒ 100% Chance to Double Cast & 20 AP to all Mages

Shadow: Bonus Damage Duration: 5 seconds ⇒ 6 seconds | Bonus Damage: 65%/150% ⇒ 65%/175%

Warden: Armor Bonus: 150%/300%/450% ⇒ 150%/300%/999%

Woodland: Having 6 gives them all a clone.

Champion Balance

Leona Damage Reduction: 40/90/140 ⇒ 40/80/120 The best early game tank as her ability negated immense amounts of damage. This nerf will help, but she will definitely remain a strong early game pickup.

Malzahar Minion health: 250/250/250 ⇒ 250/300/400 Received a buff last patch and with another buff this patch, his minions will scale with level.

Karma Attack Speed Bonus: 60/70/80 ⇒ 40/60/80 Has seen play in many many builds as she provides defensive ability with mystic and offensive ability with her ability. This nerf will tune down her power level.

Veigar Spell Damage: 300/600/900 ⇒ 325/650/975 Getting a small buff to his damage, which scales with Shadow.

Ezreal Ability Damage: 200/400/800 ⇒ 225/450/900 Health: 600 ⇒ 650 Received another buff this patch increasing his ability damage. The buff to his health also helps his survivability as a second carry role.

Sion Mana: 50/125 ⇒ 75/125 A small but nice buff which will allow him to cast faster.

Sivir Bounces: 10/10/10 ⇒ 5/7/9 This nerf will definitely make it harder for those who want to force Sivir and Friends every game, and will for sure bring the comp down from S tier.

Olaf Attack Speed: 0.85 ⇒ 0.8 Attack speed nerf. He will take longer to cast his ability and his ability, which scales off his attack speed, will also be weaker. Berserkers have taken a solid hit to their main carry.

  • Comps to run

Light Azir

When to go?

If you are able to get an early Spatula, which you are going to use to turn Azir into a Light unit. Early game you want to start picking up all the Light units, and slowly start building your comp. Azir is going to be your main carry, and you want to stack him with items like Jeweled Gauntlet, Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Rabadon’s Deathcap. Second most important unit in your comp is Yorick, and you want to give him Guardian Angel, Redemption.

Rangers-Poison

When to go?

Rangers are still very strong, and still S tier comp that you want to run in Patch 10.2. If you start your game with some Bows-Bf swords. Early game you can use Kog'Maw and Predators, they can provide you a strong start, mid-game you should start picking up core pieces for your comp and based on what you get and how fast transition out of Predators. As well-paired Rangers + Wardens can be used for early game. Twitch should be your main carry, so stack him with Infinity Edge-Last Whisper, Ashe can be used as your second carry, Statikk Shiv works good on her, as well Red Buff+Hurricane can help a lot. Any other items that you can’t use can go on your front line, such as Morello, Frozen Heart, Redemption.

Six Mages - 4 Oceans

When to go?

If you are able to get a spatula to turn Malphite into Mage. This comp can be really strong since it provides you with a lot of CC and damage with the right items. You want to prioritize Mage spatula since otherwise, you won’t be able to go for this comp. Try to get many rods+tears as possible. Early game start building your comp around Thresh, Vladimir, Syndra, Taliyah and add Nautilus for 3 mages- 4 oceans - 2 wardens.

Shadow-Inferno-Lunar

When to go?

This is my favorite comp to go for patch 10.2. It’s very flexible in terms of units, you can start it early from pretty much any opening as long you have item parts for Kindred. I prefer stacking her with Infinity Edge+Jeweled Gauntlet, for the last item you can pick between Seraph’s Embrace or Rapid Firecannon.

And these are the best comps to play right now on patch 10.2! We hope you win a lot of games and if you don't, you can always purchase a Duo Boosting service a Solo Boosting service or even TFT coaching to learn more about the game and improve!
