How the Spiritmaster Plays in AION 2

The Spiritmaster plays as two characters at once: you, and your spirit. Spirit skills build Four Elements stacks that fire Elemental Fusion and trigger Dimensional Control, while your damage over time effects switch on two key passives.

So the build has two simple rules. Always have a spirit out, and always have a DoT on every target. Most Spiritmaster damage problems come from breaking one of those two rules.

On naming: Korean and Taiwanese coverage often calls this class the Elementalist, which is its internal label. NCSOFT's global materials call it Spiritmaster. If a guide talks about the Elementalist, it means this class, but check that its numbers match global.

How Spiritmaster Builds Work on Global

Global builds are made of the same parts for every class: skill points (21 per skill to reach level 10), three specialization slots per skill, four Stigma slots that open at 22, 27, 32 and 37, Daevanion board nodes, and a Theostone on your weapon. Best Spiritmaster Skills to Level First

Jointstrike: Curse comes first: a 10 second cooldown, four targets, and a Curse DoT. Elemental Fusion fires once you have four element stacks. For your spirit, choose Wind Spirit if you want it to heal you, or Fire Spirit for AoE damage. Dimensional Control completes the kit.

Each skill needs 21 points to reach level 10, so put Curse and Fusion first.

Best Spiritmaster Passives

Spirit Strike gives +6% PvE Damage Boost to you and your spirit at the same time. Corrode follows. At level 17, Consecutive Countercurrent adds damage against targets taking a DoT, which is why keeping DoTs up matters so much. Element Unification opens at 25.

Best Spiritmaster Stigma Order

PvP swap: replace Cursed Cloud with Seize Magic, which removes up to two buffs from your target.

Spiritmaster Specializations

On Elemental Fusion, take the option that turns it into an AoE first. At skill level 12, the option that makes it a charge skill with up to 200% more damage is a major upgrade, and at 16 you get a 25% chance to regain Four Elements. On Jointstrike: Curse, take +2 seconds Curse duration, then -2 seconds cooldown at 12.

Spiritmaster Daevanion Path

Walk Nezekan's Spirit Strike pair first, since it buffs both you and the spirit. Then head to Zikel for Consecutive Countercurrent and Element Unification.

Best Spiritmaster Weapon and Theostone

Use an Epic or Unique orb with a Poison Theostone. It keeps one more DoT ticking on the target, which is exactly what Consecutive Countercurrent checks for.

Spiritmaster PvP Notes

The Spiritmaster is one of the strongest solo and 1v1 classes because the spirit adds pressure while you control the fight. In PvP, swap in Seize Magic and use Wind Spirit for sustain.

Common Spiritmaster Mistakes

• Letting the spirit die or forgetting to resummon it.

• Hitting targets without a DoT on them, which wastes Consecutive Countercurrent.

• Buying an Elementalist guide built on Korean Stigma levels without checking global caps.

• Using a burst Theostone instead of Poison.

Do Not Copy a Korean Spiritmaster Build Blindly

Korea and Taiwan have been playing AION 2 since November 2025, so most Spiritmaster guides online were written for their servers. Those servers are now on a different version: a level 50 cap instead of 45, Stigma levels up to 25 instead of 20, extra content, and a ninth class.
