Is AION 2 Pay to Win? Membership, Quna and Founder's Packs Explained
AION 2 is free to play and you cannot buy combat stats directly, but a $15 per 30 days Membership unlocks Market buying and the Kina to Quna Exchange, which lets real money turn into Kina and then into gear other players list. So it is not pay to win in the classic sense, but spending can speed you up.

Membership Is the Real Question
NC's position is that cosmetics and consumables do not affect gear progression. That part holds up.
The debate is about Membership. Without it, you cannot buy on the Market and you cannot use the Exchange. With it, you can buy Quna with money, exchange it for Kina that other players have listed, and spend that Kina on gear from the Market. Nothing gives stats directly, but money can shortcut the economy.
Two details matter:
Membership is per server. It covers the characters on the server where you activated it, not your whole account.
Personal trades need Membership on both sides, with a daily limit.
Are Founder's Packs Worth It?
The packs cost $24.99, $49.99 and $99.99. They gave a five day head start from September 30, cosmetics, a supply chest and 30 days of Membership. They do not include Quna or a premium Daeva Pass.
With global now live, the head start is over. The packs are worth it if you want the cosmetics and planned to buy a month of Membership anyway. Otherwise, the free game is complete.
Is AION 2 Worth Playing Free?
