Riot Games' first Valorant mobile game release was on Chinese servers (as a Chinese beta testing version) on August 19, 2025. But what about outside of China? So, when is Valorant coming to mobile as an official, worldwide release? The latest news (according to esports) is that Riot Games hasn't announced anything official for the beta testing release date or the global rollout afterward. Riot wants to ensure that mobile Valorant Android and iOS provide an optimal gameplay experience for all players who get it from the app store.
Since Riot is targeting a broad range of mobile devices to at least handle the minimum specs, mobile adaptation, and other mobile gaming concerns, it's real important to cover all the testing and optimization needed before announcing an official release date of Valorant mobile.
Valorant Mobile Gameplay System Requirements
As exciting as the global release date for Valorant to be available on mobile is, it's important to learn which devices can handle it. This includes handling the minimum specs, mobile adaptation, and other mobile gaming concerns. None of these has been officially announced yet. However, we do know you'll need at least 4GB of storage space to handle the game. Ideally, the more you have, the better, as updates will take up more memory and will negatively impact your gaming experience if your device can't keep up.

Riot IDs won't work with the Chinese servers, and you'll need a fully optimized VPN to avoid potential mid-game disconnections.
Whether you use Android or iOS, make sure to use a VPN to log in and keep it active during gameplay. Obviously, the better your connection is to the Chinese servers, the less lagging and other game-related issues you'll endure.
How to Play Valorant Mobile
For Android Mobile Devices
Is Valorant mobile out yet? Officially, no, but you can still download Valorant Mobile for Android through the 3839 Popcorn App. Is Valorant on Mobile on this app? Yes, it is. However, you need to install it first before you can search for the game inside the app. Once you find it, hit Download (and allow the APK of Valorant Mobile once prompted to do so) and let the game finish the full resource installation process. From there, you'll need to use a verified WeChat or QQ account to log in. Why? Because Riot IDs don't work here. That's why you need the VPN.
For iOS Mobile Devices
Downloading and how to play Valorant on mobile through iOS is a bit different than Android's version. First, open your app store profile settings and switch your Country/Region to Mainland China. You can use a random Chinese address if needed, but don't forget to update your settings and then search for Valorant Mobile to download.
What About Valorant Mobile PC Versions? Consoles? Crossplay?
