As a TFT booster for eloboost24, I have a lot of experience with the game, and I’m excited to share my thoughts on these changes with you.

Riot Games recently made significant changes to Teamfight Tactics with the release of Patch 13.3. These changes include adjustments to rerolls, hero augments, and some comps changes. A blog post about these changes was written by me, ZeulEnache, one of the best boosters inside of EB24 company.

If you’re a Teamfight Tactics player, you’re probably aware of the recent changes that have been made to the game. These changes have had a significant impact on the gameplay experience, and in this article, we’ll take a closer look at them. As a booster for eloboost24, I have been keeping a close eye on these changes and their effects on the game. Join me as we explore the latest updates and how they have affected the world of Teamfight Tactics.

A lot of big changes coming into this patch, on top of them being of course the extra 4 rerolls added to the hero augments. Many high-elo players thought that this change will not be beneficial to the game, but it might actually increase the fun for the casual players that want to play their favorite comp, and also open new opportunities and playstyles for experienced players. Until this patch, sometimes was the correct decision to just intentionally make your board weaker for one round before the augment, so you can influence the options for a potential hero augment by the synergies you have in.

Things will change in patch 13.3 because you will be able to just play your strongest board without being punished by the next augment being hero.

Other important changes are the ones to Underground and Gadgeteen.

  • Underground changed from a 3/5 trait to a 3/4/5/6
  • Underground Locks cracked per win: 2/3 ⇒ 2/2/3/4
  • Underground Locks cracked per loss: 3/5 ⇒ 3/4/5/7

This change will be really good for the games that you are forced to play lose streak midgame, giving you the possibility to just play 4 undergrounds until you eventually hit the Samira.

Also, now the Underground soul or crest will be a more appealing option for the games that you want to take a bigger risk by pushing on more heists, so you can actually cash out a big treasure that leads your team’s way to victory!

Here you have an example of a level 7 board with 4 underground that you can play until you hit Samira. AP items can go on Le Blanc, a unit that can be replaced with Vayne, which gives duelist and recon if you have AD items instead. Defensive items can go on Lee Sin or Vi until you find Zac or Sejuani.

  • Gadgeteen REWORK: Gadgeteens now gain bonus damage and damage reduction for each item equipped to them.
  • NEW Gadgeteen 3: Gadgeteens gain 3% bonus damage and damage reduction per item
  • NEW Gadgeteen 5: Gadgeteens gain 12% bonus damage and damage reduction per item

The Gadgeteens changes will make the AP comps besides Viego rise again in the meta.

This, combined with the Taliyah buff, will make tear a more desirable component at the first carousel in this patch!

  • Taliyah Weaver’s Wall explosion damage: 200/300/900 ⇒ 210/315/945

This is a really strong board that you can play at level 7 with Gadgeteens, the main units that you want to put items on are Annie and Zoe!

Until you find Soraka and Ekko you can play Sona and Jinx, or just a random upgraded threat unit.

If you get a lot of Annie’s and Zoe’s you can choose to stay level 7 to roll for 3 stars or go level 8 to find an upgraded Soraka or Taliyah and move the carry items to them. Another option would be to play 5 Gadgeteens when you find the Nunu, and let him roll on your way to victory!

The last big change comes to the very strong LaserCorps board that used to dominate the last 2 patches!

  • ALWAYS WATCHING: LaserCorps percent chance for Drone to deal magic damage removed. It now always procs.
  • PEW PEW FASTER: LaserCorps internal cooldown on Drones: 0.5 sec ⇒ 0.4 sec
  • LaserCorps Damage: 65/165/200 ⇒ 25/45/80/99
  • LaserCorps number of Drones: 1/1/2 ⇒ 1/1/1/2

It is hard to predict how this rework will exactly play out only looking at the numbers, what is certain although is that the usual board that you would want to run consists in a bunch of lasers and a Zoe or a Le Blanc that allows Zed to jump into the enemy backline and become the ultimate assassin!

You can play this level 7 board once you manage to hit both Zed and Sejuani. Instead of Le Blanc can be Ekko or Zac if you feel like you need an extra bit of frontline. At level 8 you can Play 7 Lasercorps if you find a Mordekaiser or if you got a Lasercorps Crest by crafting it with spatula+sword or from the augment. Another options would be to try and fit in 4 duelists, so your Zed gets even more rampage potential!
