Once you stabilize at level 8, save up your gold on both players instead of going to level 9.
Once you both reach a high gold total, both roll down for 4-cost units.
Hold as many as you see and pick up whatever 4-cost you’re using as a team.
After finishing rolling down, you should be able to send a copy or two. You may be able to send a 2-star 4-cost to your teammate.
The resulting 3-star 4-cost should be sufficient to earn a first-place finish. That is assuming the opponents aren’t exercising the same strategy.

TFT Double Up Ranks (and their divisions where applicable) are as follows:
Iron (IV, III, II, I)

Between Iron and Master, a player must reach the 100-point mark to jump from one division to the next. This math also applies when advancing between tier levels.
