League of Legends Patch 13.17 By Tinyy

A blog post about these changes was written by me, Tinyy, one of the best elo boosters from EB24.

Riot Games recently made significant changes to League of Legends with the release of Patch 13.17 These changes include adjustments to champion abilities, item reworks, and gameplay balance. As a booster for Eloboost24 and a player with extensive experience in the game, I'm excited to share my thoughts on these changes and how they impact the gameplay experience.

Let’s start with the BUFFS

Elise

Not the best buffs. However, Elise can be a really strong jungle champion in some matches. For example, if your laners have priorities and if you can convert that priority to invading the enemy jungle, taking drakes, taking heralds, and even diving enemy, and lastly Elise is really strong with champions that can CC enemies(Renekton W / Syndra Q, E / any kind of engage supports…). So even if you don't have that many priorities in the lanes. You can still play with these kinds of champions to make a win condition from them.

Lux

Really good buffs for both mid/support lux. Lux as a champion is easy to play. So if you are playing around iron/bronze/silver/gold/plat even maybe emerald I really prefer you to play this champion. You will learn how to play safely in every stage of the game.

Orianna

This is the 3rd buff for Orianna in the last 2 months. They are adding up overall. Against some champions, you can play her (Vlad, Akshan, Tristana, and mostly all of the melee champions).

NERFS

Naafiri

Again Naafiri gets a huge Nerf. Not playable anymore. Nerfing almost every skill + base stats is too much at one time. I don't recommend you to play this champion till he gets some changes.

Kha’Zix

This might look small. But it is not that small. The important thing is how many times you use your Q skill in a game. And you use this skill 10 times, maybe 20 times more than your other skills. So Nerf affects more. Still playable and still strong but this will certainly affect many scenarios.

ADJUSTED

Vi

They reduced Vi’s burst and slightly increased her durability. So basically Vi does less damage but is more tanky. This change is mainly for pro-play. I don't think this will affect anything in Solo-q. Don't prefer you to play her.

Blitzcrank

Now Blitzcrank does more damage to champions and less damage to minions. Overall I don't think it’s an adjustment, more likely buff. Because no one was playing Blitzcrank in the jungle. So nerfing jungle Blitzcrank doesn't make sense. A stronger blitz plays him.

Hecarim

I think the biggest reason for these changes is to make Hecarim move out of the jungle and play in the top lane. Will it affect you? I don't think so. Because the changes are really small. In the next patch, we might again see something about Hecarim. These changes will be never enough for Hecarim to move toward the top lane.

ITEMS

Duskblade of Draktharr

New passive change works like Samira W. It doesn't seem like a big change. But in general, I don't recommend you to buy this item anymore. Because it has received a lot of nerfs in the past patches.

Goredrinker

Huge substantial huge buff. You can choose this item for your bruiser champions(Renekton, Jarvan,Lee’sin, Riven…)

Spear of Shojin

Huge buff for Shojin.However, Riot called this more likely an adjustment '.It is really not. If we just look at base stats.60ad / 500 hp is too much for bruisers. Definitely 2nd item for almost all of the Bruisers.

SYSTEMS

Catchup Experience

This is a small nerf for a catchup experience. Overall it's going to be a bit harder to catch up with the enemies' lvl's right now.
