The Cards That Carry Every List
Polychrome Owl (common). Dance of Feathers fires six 30-damage hits, one per element, at random cards every two turns. Every element point you build makes it hit harder, so it scales with the whole deck.
Commando Gerz (rare). Adds Earth and Light points every two turns and starts the match with Berserk already attached.
Mistress of Tints (rare). Adds points in every element.
Aidan (common). Adds a random element point every turn and starts with the legendary Vanish Tox. The best free engine in the game.
Moxilys, the Humming One (common). Hits every enemy for Shadow, adds Shadow points and heals every turn, with 900 HP.

Rainbow Engine is the strongest list in current models. Two cards generate points in every element and Polychrome Owl converts all of them into damage. Rainbow Sustain trades Ephial for Ashtarae Lycaria to survive longer. Mono Shadow AoE stacks one element hard and hits the whole board. Mono Fire Burn is weaker on paper but the most fun to play if you own the Fire cards.

All three use Polychrome Owl and Aidan as the engine. Specter Swarm swaps Catimimi for Canine Specter, which adds 1,000 HP and area damage that grows with Shadow and Light points. Bloom Heal is the safest but slowest, with Floral Zombie and Glimmer of Hope keeping you alive while the engine scales.
Buy Berserk in the Tox Shop with all three. These decks spread damage across many elements, so a single-element Heart helps less than a flat boost to all four cards.
Upgrading From Commons
When you pull rarer cards, the natural upgrades are Commando Gerz and Mistress of Tints, which slot straight into the starter decks and push them toward the top lists above.

Let the engine cards build points for the first few turns.
Buy Berserk the first time it appears. Reroll for it if you have spare Spamtons.
