EB24 about League of Legends #37 Current Meta, Patch 11.4 - from the Booster perspective

And here we are again! A new patch means another look into each role’s Tier List! In this blog post we will go into:

• Tier List for each role
• Small note(s) about the differences compared to the tier lists from the last patch
• Recommendations on best champions for each role

Tier Lists

• Toplane

S+-Tier: Darius, Pantheon, Cho’Gath, Malphite

S-Tier:Camille, Gnar, Irelia, Viego, Gragas, Sion

A-Tier:Riven, Sett, Mordekaiser, Riven, Jayce, Volibear, Ornn, Renekton, Aatrox

B-Tier:Nasus, Shen

Notes:

Sion got upgraded to S-tier, he has proven to be a very good top laner now as he can become very tanky and can be a great front line by himself alone. Aatrox has lost his spot on A-Tier as he’s been weaker compared to the other champions but still very nice to play if it’s your pick! Renekton has ranked up on the Tier List’s ranks and can now be found on S-Tier along Camile, Gnar, and many others!

Recommendations for top mains this patch: Darius, Camille, Pantheon, Gragas, or Malph.

• Jungle

S+-Tier:Udyr, Hecarim, Kha’Zix

S-Tier:Viego, Graves, Kayn, Ekko, Olaf, Karthus, Nunu, Ivern

A-Tier:Shyvana, Rammus, Elise, Evelynn

B-Tier:Master Yi, Nidalee, Lillia, Nocturne

Notes:

Udyr is still on the golden spot this patch and will remain in S+-Tier along Hecarim and Kha’Zix! Unless he gets some kind of nerf, he should keep hanging on to the top for a while! Ivern is also more viable due to his supportive gameplay and is now in the S-tier category.

Recommendations for jungle mains this patch: Udyr, Hecarim, Viego, Kha’Zix, Ivern.

• Midlane

S+-Tier:Fizz, Yone, Yasuo, Galio

S-Tier:Viktor, Twisted Fate, Anivia

A-Tier:Kassadin, Annie, Le Blanc, Sylas, Orianna, Pantheon, Seraphine, Viego

B-Tier:Vladimir, Ahri, Ekko

Notes:

Galio has been rocking up the tier lists with his huge map pressure, he has passed to the S+-Tier! Seraphine, even though still very good and viable on the mid has been decreasing its potential along with the last patch and the current one too, she’s now on the A-Tier instead of S. Viego, even though he is S-Tier in jungling, as mid laner, he hasn’t been delivering as much and so he’s now on the B-Tier. We advise playing him as jungle rather than mid, at least for now.

Recommendations for mid mains this patch: Yone, Galio, Fizz, Anivia.

• ADC

S+-Tier:Senna

S-Tier:Jhin, Samira, Kai’Sa, AP Twitch

A-Tier:Vayne, Xayah, Ezreal, Tristana

B-Tier:Kalista, Miss Fortune, Lucian

Notes:

Senna is the best ADC in the current meta, especially with that buff on Guinsoo’s! Kai’Sa, on the other hand, dropped a tier due to the nerfs she got this patch and is now on the S-Tier only. AP Twitch has been stronger and is now on the S-Tier along with Samira, Jhin, and Kai’Sa.

Recommendations for ADC mains this patch: Senna, Kai’Sa, Jhin, AP Twitch.

• Support

S+ Tier:Lulu, Yuumi, Seraphine, Alistar, Leona, Nautilus

S-Tier: Rell, Nami, Karma, Pyke, Bard

A-Tier:Pyke, Janna, Blitzcrank, Senna, Maokai

B-Tier:Swain, Lux, Soraka, Galio, Brand

Notes:

This patch, the meta didn’t change much for Support mains, only if you play enchanters like Soraka, Yuumi, and others. The changes to the enchanter items and the ones for Grievous Wounds would be the more impactful to the role but we didn’t find any significant impact, not sure if Riot meant to shake healing supports or only champions that have a lot of healing in general.

Recommendations for support mains this patch: Seraphine, Lulu, Leona, Nautilus, Rell.
