EB24 about TFT – Patch 12.18 analysis by AceOfSpades

We got some juicy comps running on 12.18! I will now share my personal tier list for this patch 12.18.

Keep in mind this patch is a shark tank. Everyone trying to play the same thing and rolling your gold early is often a good idea. I often time all in at 7 if I’m playing certain comps.

Most broken compositions:

1. Water Gun, Graves carry is easy to play and you can roll for the full comp at level 7.
2. Guild Xaya, this comp is a staple of the meta since the start. Watch out for assassins tho.
3. 4 Dragons fast 9. Also known as rich man comp, very good when you can go 9.
4. Mage Nomsy, pretty much always play this comp when Nomsy is a mage.

Best Comps
Guild Xaya is back 

Starting item: Bow, build Rage Blade AS.

Early game: Playing Ezreal plus some Guild and a Lee Sin is usually your best chance.

This comp is really strong if you can go 8 and roll for your full comp. Guild augments are also BROKEN.

Water Gun

Starting item: Belt or Chain Vest, I prefer to build defensive items first for this comp and focus on damaged items after.

Early game: Play Lagoon and Senna if you can.

Super strong because you can roll for everything besides Yasuo at 7. This comp sprung out during this patch and it’s common to see 2 or 3 people playing it at the moment.

Age of Dragons

Best comp to play if you can get to 9 with good hp and gold. It’s simply the highest scaling comp. The problem, obviously, is to make it to that point. Having a strong early game is the most important thing, so be sure to slam your items early and hard to increase your chance of being in a good position at level 9.

Early game: WIN WIN WIN

Starting Item: I think opening the belt and building a Sunfire is the best for a winning streak.

Mage Nosmy

Starting item: Belt/Chain/Bow, building Sunfire or ZZ rot is ideal.

Mid-game: Use mages and Lagoon or if you are lucky Nosmy.

End game: Play 2 bruisers plus 7 or 9 mages depending on how many spats you get. Some of the best mage spat holders are Zyra and Jayce.
