General League of Legends Teamfight Tactics Valorant

New Placement Matches Policy for LOL, TFT, Valorant

The gaming world is always evolving, and with it, the policies that shape our play. Recently, significant updates have been made to the placement match policies for popular games like League of Legends (LoL), Teamfight Tactics (TFT), and Valorant. Understanding these changes, particularly regarding Matchmaking Rating (MMR) and rank alignment, is crucial for players aiming to maximize their gaming experience.

Last Known Rank Clarification

A key aspect of these updates is the alignment of the account's MMR with the order requirements. For instance, if you're playing on a Diamond account with Master MMR in LoL, you should select Master as your last known rank. This clarification ensures fair and balanced matchmaking in placement matches.

Guaranteed Wins Policy in League of Legends

In LoL, the new policy introduces a system of guaranteed wins for placement matches. The policy stipulates that:

  • For 5 placement matches, players are guaranteed 4 wins (Unranked to Master) and 3 wins (Grandmaster and Challenger).
  • This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

Guaranteed Wins Policy in Teamfight Tactics

In TFT, the new policy introduces a system of guaranteed wins for placement matches. The policy stipulates that:

  • For 5 placement matches, players are guaranteed 4 wins (Unranked to Master) and 3 wins (Grandmaster and Challenger).
  • This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

tftfinal.jpg 279.33 KB

Guaranteed Wins Policy in Valorant

Valorant, too, has adopted a similar policy

  • Players can expect 4 guaranteed wins for 5 placement matches in ranks up to Immortal and 3 wins at Radiant.
  • As with LoL and TFT, the number of guaranteed wins adjusts according to the number of placement matches.

valorantfinal.jpg 241.26 KB

👉
Should the guaranteed win count not be met, players will receive wins equal to their losses. However, it's important to note that compensation will not exceed a full division if the total win rate is 50% or above. This safeguard ensures that players are fairly compensated while maintaining the integrity of the ranking system. This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

Conclusion

As we embrace these new placement match policies across LoL, TFT, and Valorant, players need to stay informed and adapt their strategies accordingly. These changes not only bring a new level of excitement and challenge to the games but also ensure fairness and competitiveness in the ranking system. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, these policies are set to impact your gaming journey significantly. Remember, these updates are designed with your gaming success in mind. By understanding and leveraging them, you can optimize your gameplay and enjoy a more satisfying competitive experience. So, gear up for the new season, keep these changes in mind, and get ready to climb the ranks with confidence and strategy! 🚀🎮🏆

EB24 ABOUT TEAMFIGHT TACTICS #14 - CURRENT META ON PATCH 10.7 FROM A BOOSTER PERSPECTIVE

With the nerf to rebels in 10.7, the meta has diversified into a slew of different builds. Every origin and trait are viable in some composition or another, and every comp can reasonably top 4.

A notable standout is a Mech-Infiltrator composition, which aims to assemble an unbeatable force in the form of 3* Shaco, 3* Kai’Sa, and 3* Mech units. This composition invests heavily in the economy for the early game, only rolling excess gold above 50 at levels 6 and 7 to stabilize. However, because of the reliance on 3* units, it is very important to be uncontested and only 1 or 2 players per lobby can go for this comp.

Chrono Kayle and 6 Cybernetic are another top tier composition in this meta. These two comps are bundled together because usually, Chrono Kayle will transition into 6 Cybernetic in the late game unless there are no good items for Irelia. Having only received a small nerf to Ekko, this composition is just as powerful as it is in 10.6 but has difficult matchups into Protectors and Star Guardian. Many top streamers mainly play this comp due to its flexibility with items and consistency in the top 4.

A new composition that arose because of Vel’koz buffs and Rebel nerfs is Void Brawler, featuring Vel’koz and Cho’gath as its two carries. This composition falls off in the mid to late game, relying on 3* Vel’koz and 3* Cho’gath to secure the top 2 finishes.

New comps have also risen in popularity as a result of the changing meta. In particular, the Star Guardian reroll strategy, which aims to 3* Neeko and Syndra, rose into prominence due to the power of Neeko in stopping Cybernetic and Mech Infiltrator.

Blademaster reroll is the final new composition in 10.7, emerging due to both the 6 Blademaster buffs and the Rebel nerfs. This comp aims to run 6 Blademaster with Kassadin and 3* every unit except Kayle and Irelia. This is one of the weakest comps still being run in high Elo, often placing bottom 4 even when uncontested.

The remaining viable comps include Protectors, Jhin with Vanguards, and 6 Dark Star with Jhin/Shaco carry. These play the same as they do on patch 10.6, and are largely unchanged.

Comps to run for patch 10.7

Cybernetic

When to go?

If you find early cybernetic units, such as Fiora, Lucian, and Leona.

Roll for this composition at level 7 for Irelia 2*, and Level 8 for Ekko. Cybernetics gain additional health and damage by holding an item, so try to split your items among your units.

Lucian is a great user of Red Buff, Leona can use Zephyr or Redemption, and Vi can use Frozen Heart as well as Ionic Spark, but your main carry is Irelia, so focus on stacking her with items such as Infinity Edge (core), Guardian Angel, and Bloodthirster. Since you will get Ekko often only appears after you’ve committed your items, he gets any leftovers.

Mech Infiltrators

When to go?

If you find multiple pairs of Kai’Sa and Kha’Zix, look to run this comp.

Kai’Sa and Kha’zix are your early game pickups. Finding early Shaco will also help force this comp. This is a slow roll comp, which means you want to get to level 6 and stay above 50 gold, only rolling interest gold each round. You want to make at least two 3 stars before leveling to 7.

Important items for the comp would include Morello and Seraph’s on Kai’Sa, Quicksilver and Titan’s Resolve on Mecha units, and Infinity Edge and Bloodthirster on Shaco.

Star Guardian - E-girls

When to go?

Go for this composition whenever you open with multiple tears.

Roll for Star Guardians on 6 until you stabilize to being even/mostly winning. Then, level to 7 and put in 6 Star Guardian 4 Sorcerer, rolling gold above 50 until you’ve 3 starred Syndra and Neeko. Level to 8 and put in Lulu for Mystic, or drop Poppy for 6 Sorcerer 6 Star Guardian if you have a Star Guardian Spatula.

The Star Guardian reroll strategy is heavily reliant on Syndra to output most of your team’s damage. At least one copy of Seraph’s on Syndra is crucial for the top 4, and two Seraph’s are important for winning the lobby. Neeko should be itemized with tank items such as Ionic Spark, Guardian Angel, and Titan’s Resolve. Items on other units aren’t important, but Ahri and Lux are good places to dump them.

EB24 about League of Legends #28 Itemization, Patch 10.7 - from the Booster perspective

  • Here’s the best guide for the items on Patch 10.7! Keep yourself updated with EB24! Lookup below for your main role and get ready to climb!

  • Top

To start with the boots, it always depends on the enemy team comp, mercs vs heavy ap/cc, Tabi against AD damage.

Wukong

Wukong is a bruiser now. So of course, you want to build like a bruiser. So far it’s pretty standard build. The Tiamat is optional, it depends on if you want to push the wave fast or not.

Tryndamere

There are few variations of an early build, you can go hydra first, good for trades or essence reaver for all in/roaming. The First 4 items are must go (including boots), then the build-depend on what you need.

Trundle

Most important tip: Sheen is must have the first item no matter what happens, never go Tabi or phage or you will hardly lose, also end trinity before the Tabi. The reason for it is your q has INSANE synergy with trinity passive. If you get those 2 items you unlock your superpower spike and sooner you get it sooner you will demolish enemies. Sometimes you can change my build like going something tanky like Deadman’s Plate instead of Wit’s End if the enemies don’t really have ap champions. Generally, if you can’t get sheen first back go cull and try your best to farm for entire sheen until next back. Whenever leaving base use your won the max range while healing on the fountain and stay on the very edge. Trundle’s w improves ALL healing he receives and this includes fountain healing, so it will save you quite of time.

The last tip from me is, sometimes wait for the enemy to have a slight advantage over you when fighting then pop out your ultimate to surprise him with your healing and damage, as your ultimate reduces enemies’ armor and MR making him super squishy even if it’s bruiser or tank.

  • Jungle

Here are the best builds for the champions presented on our Tier list:

1. Graves:

For Graves, I have 3 builds:

First build:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Phantom Dancer > Infinity Edge > Deaths Dance > Boots depends

Second build:

Warrior > Drakthar > Youmuu's > Edge of Night > Mortal Reminder > Boots depends

Third build:

Warrior > Stormrazor > Cloak of Agility > Cloak of Agility > Cloak of Agility > Rapid Fire cannon > Infinity Edge > Phantom dancer

This build is for %100 crit and is built for almost every crit champion.

2. Nidalee:

Runic Echo > Sorcerer's boots or Oblivion Orb > Lich bane > Rabadon or Zhonya > Rabadon or Void staff

If they have +2 assassins (like Zed or Kha), you can go oblivion orb and Zhonyas. If +3 enemy has +120 MR go for void staff, not Rabadon.

3. Ekko:

Runic echos > Protobelt > Zhonyas > Lich bane=Rabadon > If they have +2 Hard cc champs buy mercs

4. Lee Sin:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Sterak's Gage > Guardian Angel > A tank item depends on enemy > Boots depends too

5. Nocturne:

Warrior > Sanguine Blade > Black Cleaver > Guardian Angel > Edge of Night > Boots depends

6. Rek'Sai:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Sterak's Gage > Guardian Angel > Depends on the game, you can either go offensive item or defensive > Boots depends too

7. Kha'Zix:

Warrior > Drakthar > Black Cleaver > Edge of Night > Guardian Angel > boots depend

8. Ornn:

Cinderhulk > Abyssal Mask > Ice Born Gauntlet

9. Vi:

Warrior > Trinity Force > GA or streaks gage if they have too much burst > Armor or Mr item depends on the enemy team

10. Sylas:

Runic echoes > Sorcerer's boots > Hextech Protobelt > Zhonyas (very important) > Lich Bane > Rabadons Deathcap

11. Sejuani

Cinderhulk > Warmog's > Gargoyle > Rest is adaptive tank items

Situational Items

Every ADC after 2/3 core items, have to decide to pick up some items from list below

1. Maw of Malmortius

Strong vs AP Teamcomps, gives AD, CDR, MR, with a passive that gives you shield, lifesteal and AD.

2. Phantom Dancer

Items that gives you AS/CRIT/MS and shield vs both types of damage, useful on ADC that builds crit items  (Tristana,  Aphelios,  Xayah, Miss Fortune, Draven)

3. Guardian Angel

After getting killed, you getting respawned with 50% of your base hp, gives AD/ARMOR

very good item vs strong assassins

4. Quicksilver Sash

An item that removes one CC, useful vs team comps with a lot of CC or vs CC that will kill you when you will get them (Malzahar, Leona, Warwick, works vs Mordekaiser ult as well)

5. Bloodthirster

Gives AD/Lifesteal, passive that grants you shield, good on champions that need lifesteal but as well they depend more on AD than attack speed (Draven)

6. Lord Dominik's Regards

Gives AD/ ARmor pen, good vs tanks, when you don't play a champion that have % dmg, like Kai'Sa, Kog'maw, Vayne

7. Mortal Reminder

Gives AD/Armor pen, 10% less armor pen than Lord Dominik's, but your auto attacks apply Grievous Wounds

EB24 about League of Legends #27 Current meta, Patch 10.7 - from the Booster perspective

Patch 10.7 wasn’t that different from last patch but we want to keep you always updated about new changes and maybe small changes that we think it is worth mentioning!

  • Top

With the new patch, there are new champions in the S tier. So far, the nerfs for the current S tier champions are not good enough to weaker them. In S tier we welcome reworked Wukong, Tryndamere, and Trundle. Trundle might be a surprise for many people but we will get in second in detail why I’ve chosen him from B tier to S tier. Wukong at the current state is insanely strong, he is super hard to outtrade, his w is perfectly synced with his animations giving you almost no space for counterplay, and he has a 3-second knock-up which cannot be countered with tenacity. Tryndamere is an Elo machine super high DPS, unkillable, almost no hard matchups, great at split pushing and he can scale easily no matter how hard behind u put him. Trundle is my personal favorite pick of the patch, he received buffs beforehand and now he is an absolute monster. Capability to 1v1 any champion, with his ultimate he, can turn any losing matchup and he is shredding the turrets if few hits. All other S tier picks build and runes are in patch 10.5 posts so check them out to find out more about them. This time we going to focus on these 3 newcomers.

Top Tier List

S-tier: Kled, Mordekaiser, Darius, Ornn, Garen, Wukong, Tryndamere, Trundle

A-tier: Kayle, Shyvanna, Poppy, Illaoi, Camille, Dr.Mundo, Cassiopeia, Jax, Malphite

  • Jungle

10.6 mainly focuses on melee carry top lane champions and wukong. But kindred buff is huge in my opinion. Buff to her W is making her early game more and more. After one more buff, she will be on meta because other champions still outduel her. And another change in the jungle is deaths dance but sadly the item is too expensive and I think it's only available on graves.

  • Mid

Riot Games is buffing control mages what is not a dream for assassin players but a big deal for those ones who like to play slow farm up and play team fights in 40 min. So, let’s see what’s changed. Anivia received a 1-sec frozen duration buff which, to be honest, doesn’t change anything. She is a nice late game champ but early game is vulnerable for ganks and she is immobile which makes her easy target for assassins.

Tier List for Mid

S-tier: General AP champions, Kata, Akali

A-tier: Cassio, Ryze, AD assassins

  • AD Carry

Since last patch only thing on adc that got changes is Kai’sA cooldowns on E, are 2s lower on level 5.

S-Tier: Miss Fortune, Caitlyn, Ezreal

A-Tier: Lucian, Jhin, Aphelios, Jinx, Kai’Sa, Vayne

  • Support

Currently the hard support engages supports  are still dominant, followed by defensive supports and lastly casters ad or ap supports. Being able to get priority in lane or straight win 2 vs 2 is really important early game to get dragon control for the soul win condition or rotation for rift herald, team fights usually are started by hard engage supports  or you have to counter engage whit defensive supports or just follow up the main engage on the team depending the team comp.

S Tier List

Leona

Standard hard engage support, good early mid-game, not as strong in the late game although the changes to w make his late-game not as horrible, usually, you pick her if open unless you already have heavy engage.

Nautilus

Hard engage support, not as strong as Leona early game, but he scales really good into the late game whit hp.

Thresh

Decent engage but unlike the other 2 he has really good disengage as well, and utility whit lantern, plus good scaling whit souls.

Galio

Whit the recent magic shield buff on R Galio is really good as a counter pick vs heavy magic damage team comps, it has good engage with e w and r is a good disruption and follow up engage for you team.

A Tier List

Tahm Kench

Defensive support, really good to counter any hard engage from the s tier, but you need specifics ADC’s, it has good scaling and good map control with R.

Braum

Defensive support, the shield is really good vs most of the meta ADC’s, passive is also good to cc the enemy team on team fights and R is useful to disengage against the S-tier.

Taric

One of the best counter vs meta supports, but you need specific ADC’s like Ezreal, Kalista and Lucian are the best to use Taric tools with W, E, and R for peeling sustain cc and the powerful r.

Senna

Really good on the early game whit double ranged adc poke, but you require either some jungle help or a really good position to deal whit the s tiers, it has sustain, cc and with specific runes, it can control the lanes, plus the global shield and damage R.

And this is it. Make sure you grab your boosting service or coaching service and assign it to any of our boosters that helped us make this blog post possible! Their names will be below so click on them and don't forget to assign your service to them.

League of Legends

EB24 ABOUT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS #26 - PATCH RUNDOWN 10.7 - FROM A BOOSTER PERSPECTIVE

A new patch means more information! Let's make our typical Patch Rundown and see what's new on this Patch 10.7!

Reworks:

Fiddlesticks, The Ancient Fear
We still need a couple of patches to figure out if fiddlesticks is good or not right now it’s too early to tell until players figure out how the champion functions, but from the kit and his gameplay trailer he seems strong with his silence and his perma vision he seems like a “trickster” champion he is very confusing to play against especially with his clones acting as wards and casting spells u can’t figure out which one is the real one.

Changes:
Akali – buffed
Perfect Execution (R):
Cooldown decreased to 100/80/60 from 120/90/60

Good quality of life buff maybe has a slight impact in soloq because you can kill people in lane faster but overall a mediocre buff that won’t make Akali come back in the meta.

Corki – buffed
Valkyrie (W):
Special Delivery – duration of slow and burn effects on enemies directly hit increased to 2 seconds from 1.5 seconds

Again more of a placebo buff because you only use your package a couple of times in the game.

Galio – changed
Hero’s Entrance (R):
New! This ability now grants Galio’s Shield of Durand (W) magic damage shield for 5 seconds to all allied champions nearby.

Very good versus heavy ap teams as a support or a mid laner quite a niche pick but if you’re against a heavy ap team this might help out a lot otherwise Galio isn’t a very good champ to pick randomly or blind pick.

Garen – changed
Perseverance (Passive):
Cooldown increased to 8 seconds from 7 seconds
Decisive Strike (Q):
Duration of movement speed changed to 1/1.65/2.3/2.95/3.6 seconds from 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5 seconds

Good quality of life changes especially because he doesn’t max q so the first level of q has more movement speed.

Ivern – buffed
Triggerseed (E):
Damage increased to 70/95/120/145/170 from 60/80/100/120/140
Daisy! (R):
Cooldown decreased to 140/130/120 from 160/140/120

Huge buffs for Ivern he’s quite an interesting and unique champion, these buffs are especially good because he maxes E first and the cooldown on his ultimate in early game helps him out as well vs aggressive junglers that want to invade, but the biggest buf is still the E 30 damage level 9 is pretty huge especially because he casts it so often on daisy or one of his teammates.

Kai’Sa – buffed
Supercharge (E):
Cooldown decreased to 16/15/14/13/12 from 16/15.5/15/14.5/14

Helps her out a little bit but I don’t think she’s very good in the meta she has a really hard time in lane versus the current Adc champions that are in the meta, for example, Aphelios and Mf, of course, she has a good matchup versus Ezreal but and if Aphelios and Mf are not open than she’s one of the better champions to pick especially if you have a heavy AD team comp she can build AP.

Nasus – changed
Wither (W):
New! For every 35 stacks of Siphoning Strike (Q), this ability’s cast range now increases by 10 (with a cap of 200 additional range).
Range increased to 700 from 600
Spirit Fire (E):
Enemy armor reduction increased to 25/30/35/40/45% from 15/20/25/30/25%

This helps Nasus out quite a bit especially the extra range on his W it is quite a good spell to really shut down people in the mid-game especially Adc’s but one of Nasuses biggest weakness is his lane phase and how hard he can be bullied by a bruiser or champions like Vayne in the early game but if he survives the lane phase he is pretty good.

Nocturne – nerfed

Stats:
HP regen decreased to 7 from 8.5
MR per level decreased to 0.75 from 1.25

With these nerfs they’re trying to hit solo lane especially mid lane Nocturne but he hasn’t been seen much these last few patches these nerfs won’t do anything to jungle Nocturne but they’ll make mid lane Nocturne weaker versus ap champions.

Riven – buffed

Stats:
Base HP increased to 560 from 558.48 Base HP regen increased to 8.5 from 7

More of a placebo buff Riven is already pretty good but very hard to pilot mechanically with all the Q cancels the HP regen helps her out a little bit of course.

Talon – nerfed
Rake (W):
W’s initial damage dealt decreased to [45/60/75/90/105 (+40% bAD)] from [50/65/80/95/110 (+40% bAD)]
W’s return damage dealt decreased to [45/65/85/105/125 (+70% bAD)] from [70/85/100/115/130 (+60% bAD)]

Talon's early game got completely gutted which was one of his strongest points in the game, of course, he’s still going to be obnoxious because of his roams in soloQ but he won’t be able to win lane as hard or at all anymore.

Wukong – nerfed

Stone Skin (Passive):
Armour decreased to 5-9 (according to level) from 5-11 (according to level)
Nimbus Strike (E):
Damage decreased to 80/110/140/170/200 from 80/120/160/200/240

They hit Wukong's tankiness and his damage on E which wasn’t really the issue he had his main damage comes from his Q and his clones auto-attacking and using spells and ultimate the deaths dance change also helped him out a lot in being tanky and also doing damage so he’s still going to be pretty good in this patch.

Xin Zhao – buffed
Determination (Passive):
Healing increased to 10-112 (according to level) from 10-78 (according to level).
Full values now increased as follows: 10/16/22/28/34/40/46/52/58/64/70/76/82/88/94/100/106/112
(Previous values: 10/14/18/22/26/30/34/38/42/46/50/54/58/62/66/70/74/78)

Helps him out mid to late game with healing but it’s not like Xin is a late-game champion he excels in the early game healing helps him out a bit in the mid-game but it really doesn’t matter in the late game.

Rune Changes:

Phase Rush (Sorcery keystone) – buffed

Effects:
Amount of extra movement speed given to melee Champs increased to 40-60% from 30-50%

A bit of love shown to melee champions that used to take nimbus cloak but don’t anymore it might help out melee champions that need it in some matchups for example Darius.

Conditioning (R3) – nerfed

Effects:
Duration of buff reset time increased to 12 minutes from 10 minutes

Champions that didn’t need bone plating or second wind will still take it doesn’t change might be a slight nerf for tanks in the lane phase.
