EB24 about League of Legends #10 Itemization, Patch 10.1 - from the Booster perspective

The meta was already talked on our last blog post so this time, we need to let you know the items you should build on the best meta champion for this patch! So let's get started:

• Top

As for items one of your main priorities is still buying early tier 2 boots. Tabi’s and mercury’s are probably the most broken items in the game and as a top laner, you’re aiming for that kind of stuff. For bruisers, it mostly depends on the champion for example as Fiora you will most likely rush hydra or the build including Manamune, for Darius, it’s Trinity Force into Sterak and then tank items, for Kled Tiamat into black cleaver into titanic hydra. There are few variations of builds but there are too many of them to go into details. There are also champions like Jax/Mordekaiser/Riven and so on that have a lot more builds which are usually adaptive to your playstyle. As for tanks Sunfire, Iceborn gauntlet and Thornmail are the best items to get. The amount of stats compared to their price is pretty insane. As for top lane overall, omen and adaptive helmet are the best options if you need some tankiness on your bruisers. Along with that Spirit Visage is must need on champions that have self-healing built in their kit. Also omen with Frozen Heart is the best combination against high DPS champions such as Vayne/Kog’Maw so if you ever get bullied by them this will help you for sure.

• Jungler

The builds for each jungler that is meta will be down below:

1. Sett:

Cinderhulk > Triforce > Streaks Gage > Boots depends on the enemy (armor or MR) > Guardian Angel

2. Graves:

For Graves, I have 3 builds:

First build:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Phantom Dancer > Infinity Edge > Deaths Dance > Boots depends

Second build:

Warrior > Drakthar > Youmuu's > Edge of Night > Mortal Reminder > Boots depends

Third build:

Warrior > Stormrazor > Cloak of Agility > Cloak of Agility > Cloak of Agility > Rapid Fire cannon > Infinity Edge > Phantom dancer

This build is for %100 crit and is built for almost every crit champion.

3. Nidalee:

Runic Echo > Sorcerer's boots or Oblivion Orb > Lich bane > Rabadon or Zhonya > Rabadon or Void staff

If they have +2 assassins (like Zed or Kha), you can go oblivion orb and Zhonyas. If +3 enemy has +120 MR go for void staff, not Rabadon.

4. Ekko:

Runic echos > Protobelt > Zhonyas > Lich bane=Rabadon > If they have +2 Hard cc champs buy mercs

5. Lee Sin:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Sterak's Gage > Guardian Angel > A tank item depends on enemy > Boots depends too

6. Nocturne:

Warrior > Sanguine Blade > Black Cleaver > Guardian Angel > Edge of Night > Boots depends

7. Rek'Sai:

Warrior > Black Cleaver > Sterak's Gage > Guardian Angel > Depends on the game, you can either go offensive item or defensive > Boots depends too

8. Kha'Zix:

Warrior > Drakthar > Black Cleaver > Edge of Night > Guardian Angel > boots depend

9. Ornn:

Cinderhulk > Abyssal Mask > Ice Born Gauntlet

10. Vi:

Warrior > Trinity Force > GA or streaks gage if they have too much burst > Armor or Mr item depends on the enemy team

11. Sylas:

Runic echoes > Sorcerer's boots > Hextech Protobelt > Zhonyas (very important) > Lich Bane > Rabadons Deathcap

• Mid

Items for the champions that are on the meta at the moment for the mid lane are quite similar:

If the champion is AP:

- Archangel's Staff& Rod of Ages ( Best on: Cassiopeia/Ryze/Kassadin)

- Morellonomicon

- Zhonya's Hourglass (Best vs ad and burst champion)

- Hextech Gunblade (Best on Kata/Akali)

- Rylai's Crystal Scepter (Best on Cassiopeia)

- Hextech Protobelt-01 (Best on Ekko/Sylas)

- Luden's Echo (Best on Sylas/Syndra)

If the champion is AD:

Lethality items are very optional so follow this pattern:

If you are ahead, you should go for :

-Youmuu's Ghostblade & Duskblade of Draktharr and finish with GA or Last Whisper

If you're losing or even in the lane, you should go for:

Duskblade of Draktharr & Edge of Night/ Sanguine Blade

Situational items:

If you have mountain drakes, the Banshee's Veil is strong with it and gives you a lot of MR (especially vs AP mid & top/jungle) . Incase you're vs tanks, you should go for Liandry's Torment.

• ADC

For the current patches, the itemization for Aphelios is: Essence Reaver, Runaans, Infinity Edge, for the other 2 items it’s situational Mercurial if they have cc another crit item if you’re ahead Guardian Angel if they have a lot of assassins.

For Mf you have to go 3 or 2 dorans blades depends on how much gold you have on your first back after you go: Essence Reaver, Infinity,Rapid/PD last two items are situational,

For Caitlyn you go: Stormrazor, Infinity, Rapid, Statikk/Phantom Dance. The last item is situational.

For Senna you go: Manamune, Duskblade, Edge of night/Yommu, Rapid Fire Cannon, IE, last item is situational.

• Support

The best items for support are basically the same as the ones from the last patch, no relative changes to it so here's the list:

Steel Shoulderguards:

the ad bonus is really useful trough the entire lane besides Nautilus and Thresh most tank supports do not scale well whit ap.

Zeke's Converge:

The standard item for tank supports it gives both armor, MR and cdr plus the active is really good for damage and peel.

Knights Vow:

The standard defensive armor item it gives hp armor cdr and the link shared damage

Locket of the Iron Solari:

The standard defensive magic item it gives 60 MR and 30 armor plus an active shield that prevents damage based on max hp.

Boots:

Mobility boots:

standard boots for rotations

Ninja Tabi:

good vs heavy ad damage team comps

Mercury Boots:

standard boots vs heavy magic damage or cc team comps.

Unless you are the main tank of the team you usually get mobility boots for rotations, most meta supports are really good at rotations plus the main support items really help them out making their work as hard engage easier.
