General League of Legends Teamfight Tactics Valorant

New Placement Matches Policy for LOL, TFT, Valorant

The gaming world is always evolving, and with it, the policies that shape our play. Recently, significant updates have been made to the placement match policies for popular games like League of Legends (LoL), Teamfight Tactics (TFT), and Valorant. Understanding these changes, particularly regarding Matchmaking Rating (MMR) and rank alignment, is crucial for players aiming to maximize their gaming experience.

Last Known Rank Clarification

A key aspect of these updates is the alignment of the account's MMR with the order requirements. For instance, if you're playing on a Diamond account with Master MMR in LoL, you should select Master as your last known rank. This clarification ensures fair and balanced matchmaking in placement matches.

Guaranteed Wins Policy in League of Legends

In LoL, the new policy introduces a system of guaranteed wins for placement matches. The policy stipulates that:

  • For 5 placement matches, players are guaranteed 4 wins (Unranked to Master) and 3 wins (Grandmaster and Challenger).
  • This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

Guaranteed Wins Policy in Teamfight Tactics

In TFT, the new policy introduces a system of guaranteed wins for placement matches. The policy stipulates that:

  • For 5 placement matches, players are guaranteed 4 wins (Unranked to Master) and 3 wins (Grandmaster and Challenger).
  • This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

tftfinal.jpg 279.33 KB

Guaranteed Wins Policy in Valorant

Valorant, too, has adopted a similar policy

  • Players can expect 4 guaranteed wins for 5 placement matches in ranks up to Immortal and 3 wins at Radiant.
  • As with LoL and TFT, the number of guaranteed wins adjusts according to the number of placement matches.

valorantfinal.jpg 241.26 KB

👉
Should the guaranteed win count not be met, players will receive wins equal to their losses. However, it's important to note that compensation will not exceed a full division if the total win rate is 50% or above. This safeguard ensures that players are fairly compensated while maintaining the integrity of the ranking system. This guarantee scales down with the number of placement matches played, ensuring players have a clear expectation of their potential ranking outcome.

Conclusion

As we embrace these new placement match policies across LoL, TFT, and Valorant, players need to stay informed and adapt their strategies accordingly. These changes not only bring a new level of excitement and challenge to the games but also ensure fairness and competitiveness in the ranking system. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, these policies are set to impact your gaming journey significantly. Remember, these updates are designed with your gaming success in mind. By understanding and leveraging them, you can optimize your gameplay and enjoy a more satisfying competitive experience. So, gear up for the new season, keep these changes in mind, and get ready to climb the ranks with confidence and strategy! 🚀🎮🏆

League of Legends Patch 14.3

Riot Games recently made significant changes to League of Legends with the release of Patch 14.3 These changes include adjustments to champion abilities, item reworks, and gameplay balance. As a booster for Eloboost24 and a player with extensive experience in the game, I'm excited to share my thoughts on these changes and how they impact the gameplay experience.

BUFFS

Corki

corki.png 87.13 KB

Corki was a champion to pick against Azir in the pro arena, and when Azir got nerfed and Corki got a buff, it made him a more selectable pick against Azir. I won't say he got a huge buff because his passive and ultimate got nerfed at the same time, but I recommend you try it.

Illaoi

image11.png 54.77 KB

I think it strengthens illaoi a lot. Maybe it won't be very useful in a fiesta fight, but it will be much more difficult to dodge in one-on-one battles.

Nidalee

image9.png 71.69 KB

It is a buff that can bring top lane Nidalee to the meta. The reason is that Nidalee fills e first when playing in the top lane. And getting such a good buff to the e-skill can put her back in the top lane. Of course, it is a nice buff for Jungle Nidalee as well

Pyke

image12.png 86.79 KB

Pyke's design as a champion is not something I like very much. The fact that he gives money to everyone and is very mobile can create a little uneasiness in those who play against him. For this reason, no matter how much I dislike it, I recommend you to play because of these buffs, because these buffs can make us see Pyke even in the professional arena.

NERFS

Lilia

image10.png 64.54 KB

Lilia was not in a very good position, but with the change of items, there were very nice item combinations that fit her, which put her in a very strong position despite not getting any buffs. If you are playing in low leagues, I think she is still a nice farmer jungler, so I recommend you to play.

Karma

image7.png 52.3 KB

Unlike Lilia, Karma had received a buff a while ago and it didn't make enough difference to bring her into the meta. After the items changed, she came to a very strong position, especially with the malignance item, so I think this Nerf is necessary.

Trundle

image5.png 56.2 KB

I still think he's very strong, he's one of the rare champions that can win the game on his own, both his early and his late are very strong and I don't think this Nerf will mean anything.

Rengar

image8.png 65.73 KB

Rengar was a mid-level jungler before the items changed. After the items changed, he became one of the best junglers. The reason is the item called Hubris. Since it gives a lot of AD in the late phases and rengar likes late phases, this put him in a very good position. I still think he is strong and playable.

ITEMS

Essence Reaver

image1.png 39.66 KB

I think this change is for Ezreal, nerfing Ezreal a bit and strengthening this item will not completely drop him from the meta and will balance the nerfs to the champion a bit.

Rod of Ages

image13.png 42.31 KB

At the beginning of the season, it was said that all mages and AP champions would get this item, but that was not the case. This item was preferred not because it was weak, but because the new items were very powerful. I think they wanted them to get this buff again for some fighter mages.

Youmuu’s Ghostblade

image2.png 45.76 KB

I think it's a nerf for the ADCs who are playing Lethality, but they are the only ones who are strong in the meta right now, so it's debatable how logical it is to nerf them.

As a booster for Eloboost24 and a player with extensive experience in the game, I'm excited to share my thoughts on these changes and how they impact the gameplay experience.

BUFFS

Ahri

It may seem like a small buff, but it's an effective late-stage buff. Maybe it will allow you to use E 2 or 3 times in a long fight.

Ezreal

I think the buff coming to Ezreal is good, because Ezreal was not playable in the early phase after the item changes, so considering that we received the items later, we can say that this buff is appropriate.

Garen

Yes, hullbreaker is not as strong as it used to be, but Garen was already in a strong position with the combinations of new items. It is very strong now and I recommend you to try it if you are playing top lane.

Gragas

They decided to buff some AP champions because a lot of AP items got nerfed, so it's understandable. Buffing Gragas here is nice, but since Gragas is a difficult character to play in general, it may take some time to master.

Karma

Buffing karma is very nice. It is a buff for both support, top lane, and mid lane. In general, the AP rate is a feature that you can use in every lane, but I think we will see it more in mid or bot.

Twisted Fate

I have no idea why they are trying to bring AD twisted fate into the meta. As a result, it is a mage champion and a strong champion in zoning the opposing team. So I don't understand the ad buff that comes to the skills in general. I think it will still be played in mid. And we can see a twisted fate played with new item combinations.

NERFS

Fizz

He was in a very strong state due to the new items. He was a champion with a 55%-56% win rate in solo q. So it is normal for him to be nerfed, but I think that both the items and the champion getting nerfed at the same time will make him unplayable. I do not recommend playing her.

Teemo

Teemo is one of the champions who has become very strong due to item changes in the same way. This is the 3rd Nerf he received in a row. But since they finally nerfed his ultimate, I can say that he is now balanced, maybe even a little weak. Teemo is a good champion in terms of having fun and I only recommend it if you want to play this game for fun. Improving wise I do not recommend.

ITEMS

Bloodsong

The item had become such that even ADCs were buying it, so this Nerf was necessary.

Frozen Heart

I think the price is still too low. If you have a full ad composition in the enemy team, you can still go for this item. The price should at least be nerfed around 200 or 300 gold.100 gold is not enough in my opinion.

Storm Surge

Yes, it's a nice nerf to the most broken item of the game. I expect it to get nerfed more. I still think it's strong, but it won't be preferred as much as before. It was the item that almost every AP champion took as the 1st or 2nd item.

League of Legends Patch 14.1 - Part 2

In the ever-evolving realm of League of Legends, Riot Games has once again shaken things up with the release of Patch 14.1. As a seasoned player and elo booster from Eloboost24 - Tinyy, I am thrilled to delve into the intricacies of these game-altering changes and share my insights on how they reshape the overall gameplay experience.

PART 2: Fist Bumps, Fighter and Diver Items

Fist Bumps

Fist bumps, the universal sign of celebration, have found their way into League of Legends, courtesy of Riot Games (whose logo conveniently features a fist bump). Now, you can share the hype moments in the game with an interactive fist bump emote. Here's the lowdown: activate the emote, wait for a team member to reciprocate, and voila – fist bump achieved! Cue the in-game fireworks for that extra dash of excitement. (Note: default key bind for this epic interaction is [U])

It's important to note that the fist bump emote is exclusively visible to allied teammates. And in the off chance that a teammate doesn't reciprocate your fist bump, fear not – your gesture transforms into a friendly thumbs up. So, get ready to amplify the camaraderie on the battlefield with these new interactive emotes! 🤜🤛

Fighter and Diver Items

Hullbreaker

The Hullbreaker undergoes a significant transformation, shifting from a one-on-one powerhouse to a more versatile item. Now providing defense to nearby siege and super minions, coupled with extra damage every 5 attacks, it's a game-changer that demands a fresh approach.

Spear of Shojin

Empowering non-ultimate abilities with 15 ability haste, Spear of Shojin adds extra damage that stacks up to 4 times upon hitting an ability. This dynamic feature makes it a potent choice for champions like Hecarim and Ezreal.

Experimental Hexplate

While its passive is straightforward, Experimental Hexplate finds its niche with champions like Shaco, Talon, Tryndamere, and Olaf. Its simplicity makes it a go-to for specific playstyles.

Sundered Sky

Boasting a low 6-second cooldown, Sundered Sky becomes a staple for fighters due to its versatility with almost every skill. The early acquisition promises dominance in one-on-one situations, signaling a potential meta shift.

Wit’s End

Despite a 400-gold price drop, the -40 AD and +20% tenacity trade-off might not sit well with everyone. A significant nerf that could impact a broad spectrum of champions relying on it.

Tank and Support Tank Items

Hollow Radiance

A magic resistance counterpart to Sunfire Aegis, this item stands out as a versatile choice providing lane pushing and solid magic resistance against AP champions. Anticipate its preference in many AP matchups.

Unending Despair

A combat-centric item, Unending Despair deals magic damage during level-dependent combat with champions. Offering life regeneration based on damage dealt, it blends tankiness, sustains, and damage in a single package, potentially disrupting the balance.

Kaenic Rookern

Functioning akin to Galio's passive, Kaenic Rookern grants a shield of magic resistance when out of combat, making it a powerful tool against poke champions. With a 12-second cooldown, it's a strategic choice against champions like Xerath and Zoe.

Assassin Items

Voltaic Cyclosword

Tailored for mobile champions, Voltaic Cyclosword's energy-filled charge makes it an appealing choice. While its stats and price align well, the passive damage dealt might seem slightly underwhelming in the late game.

Profane Hydra

Breaking the monotony, Profane Hydra emerges as a formidable alternative. With enticing stats and pricing, its active ability promises significant late-game damage, potentially making it a meta-dominating item, especially among assassins.

Upcoming Skins & Chromas

League of Legends continues its evolution with tantalizing skins and chromas, offering players a visual feast and customizable options. Stay tuned for the latest releases to elevate your in-game aesthetics.

Conclusion

The League of Legends landscape has undergone a seismic shift with Patch 14.1, introducing a plethora of changes to items catering to different playstyles. As you navigate these alterations, keep a keen eye on the evolving meta, and adapt your strategies accordingly.

League of Legends Patch 14.1 - Part 1

In the ever-evolving realm of League of Legends, Riot Games has once again shaken things up with the release of Patch 14.1. As a seasoned player and elo booster from Eloboost24 - Tinyy, I am thrilled to delve into the intricacies of these game-altering changes and share my insights on how they reshape the overall gameplay experience.

PART 1: Gameplay Changes

Void Gameplay Changes

League of Legends introduces a fascinating twist with three voids spawning at minute 5, reappearing every 4 minutes until minute 14. These little helpers add an intriguing layer to gameplay, with a unique detail – when a void is killed, its health transfers as a shield to the next void. A subtle change that may influence the early game dynamics.

Revamped Rift Herald

The Rift Herald undergoes significant alterations, losing some old features while gaining new ones. Players can now ride and direct the Rift Herald, increasing damage dealt to towers. However, the barricades no longer appear before minute 14, leading to a slower-paced game.

Voidborn Sentinel, Brambleback, and... Scuttler?

Baron buffs take a different turn when the baron arrives at minute 20. Red and blue buffs now affect the entire team but with slightly reduced efficacy. Killing the scuttlecrab provides vision in the surrounding area, introducing strategic advantages.

Baron Nashor

League of Legends now features three distinct barons, each with unique characteristics. The appearance of these barons is entirely random, making adaptability crucial. While each baron has its abilities, the focus shifts more to map awareness due to these changes.

Hunting Baron Pit

Territorial Baron Pit
All-Seeing Baron Pit

Map Changes

The map undergoes structural transformations, embracing diagonal symmetry. Ganking and diving dynamics shift for each lane, providing both challenges and opportunities. The baron and dragon pits become more spacious, altering team fight dynamics with both advantages and difficulties.

Bot Side
Jungle

Mage Items

Riftmaker

Tailored for warrior mages, Riftmaker's value increases the longer you stay in a fight, making it ideal for champions like Cassiopeia and Vlad.

Malignance

A personal favorite, Malignance grants cooldown reduction for ultimates and introduces a burning effect upon damaging an opponent champion.

Luden’s Companion

Similar to the old Luden, Luden’s Companion brings familiarity with a reloading mechanic and increased damage for focused attacks.

Stormsurge

With a unique passive feature, Stormsurge offers movement speed upon dealing significant damage to a champion, providing potential benefits for champions like Diana and Fizz.

Hextech Rocketbelt

An updated version of the old Hextech Rocketbelt, is now more accessible due to its reduced price, allowing for earlier purchases and potential snowball effects.

Liandry’s Torment

Designed for fighter AP champions, Liandry’s Torment shines in prolonged fights, particularly effective against tanky opponents.

Horizon Focus

Undergoing slight structural changes, Horizon Focus becomes crucial for mages with area control abilities like Zoe and Xerath.

Seeker’s Armguard

The addition of a stopwatch to Seeker’s Armguard adds a layer of versatility, allowing players to use it once for strategic advantages.

Cryptbloom

A unique alternative to Void Staff, Cryptbloom provides a healing area after killing a champion, blending damage and supportive functions.

Archangel’s Staff

An item worth considering, Archangel’s Staff sees increased ability power and ability speed, potentially favored by champions like Kassadin and Cassiopeia.

Void Staff

With an increased cost, Void Staff experiences a slight nerf, making it a preferred choice in later stages of the game.

Rod of Ages

Experiencing a buff with a reduced cost, Rod of Ages remains a valuable item for fighter mages, offering health and mana with limited alternatives.

Conclusion
