There’s also Legacy, a category that focuses on season-based accomplishments and previous achievements that can no longer be obtained. However, they don’t contribute to your overall Challenge and it won’t level up as a category.

The way Challenge works is by its Token. This is a unique icon that represents a challenge and its current rank. Tokens are at the center of each Challenge Card and are listed by name and what it needs for completion. You can equip up to three tokens, which are displayed on your profile and in the Lobby and Loading screens.

Notes:

Despite the nerfs, Urgot still is one of the best champion to carry your team to victory!

You can also play Darius or Gnar for team fight/split push power, or Malphite to have ultimate team fights.

Notes:

Right now jungle is all about power farming and controlling the map and objectives.

Udyr, Hecarim, and Nocturne provide it all, they are also really good in 1v1 fights.

Recommendations: Udyr, Hecarim, Kha’Zix, and Nocturne. They are incredibly fast and have really good camp clear. They are one of the best duelists right now.

 

  • Midlane

S+ Tier: Katarina, Galio, Ahri, Neeko

S tier: Viktor, Twisted Fate, Anivia, Kassadin, Fizz, Yone, Yasuo,

A tier: Annie, Le Blanc, Sylas, Orianna, Pantheon, Seraphine, Viego, Qiyana

Notes:

Right now Ahri is one of the strongest champions.

Neeko is also a very strong pick. She has a really good laning phase and team fights with all of her cc.

Recommendations: Ahri, Fizz, Kassadin and Yone.

S+ Tier: Vayne, Jhin, Tristana, Ashe

S Tier: Samira, Xayah, Senna, Kaisa,

A Tier: Ezreal, Kog’Maw, AP Twitch

Notes:

Ashe came back to the meta since Kai'Sa and Tristana got a little bit nerfed.

I don't think that's the main problem with Alistar right now. Everything that he provides during the laning phase and also in team fights is controlling the fight, peeling his carries from enemy engages, and providing a lot of CC.

 

AMUMU

Q cost decreased. E cooldown decreased.

Q - BANDAGE TOSS

COST 50/55/60/65/70 mana ⇒ 30/35/40/45/50 mana

E - TANTRUM

COOLDOWN 10/9/8/7/6 seconds ⇒ 9/8/7/6/5 seconds

These are really nice buffs for Amumu that might bring him back to the meta, at least in lower tiers.

 

ASHE

R cooldown decreased later.

R - ENCHANTED CRYSTAL ARROW

COOLDOWN 100/90/80 seconds ⇒ 100/80/60 seconds

Ashe’s ultimate is her main and most important ability. 10/20 second in later stages of a game might be clutch in a lot of games.

 

BRAUM

E cooldown decreased. R maximum knock up duration increased later.

E - UNBREAKABLE

COOLDOWN 18/16/14/12/10 seconds ⇒ 16/14/12/10/8 seconds

R - GLACIAL FISSURE

MAXIMUM KNOCK UP DURATION 1/1.25/1.5 seconds ⇒ 1/1.5/2 seconds

Really nice buffs for Braum. E provides a really good peel for his team and also 0.5s on knock up duration on his ultimate can really shift team fights.

 

HECARIM

E bonus movement speed decreased later.

E - DEVASTATING CHARGE

BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED 25-75% (based on time active) ⇒ 25-65% (based on time active)

I don't think that 10% less bonus speed on his E will change much. Hecarim has really overpowered kit and his jungle clear is also really powerful.

 

IVERN

E base damage decreased later.

E - TRIGGERSEED

BASE DAMAGE 70/95/120/145/170 ⇒ 70/90/110/130/150

That’s a meaningless nerf.

 

KAI'SA

R cooldown increased early.

R - KILLER INSTINCT

COOLDOWN 110/90/70 seconds ⇒ 130/100/70 seconds

20/10 seconds on her ultimate can be a pain in the eye, but I don't think that it will change the meta that much.

 

KINDRED

Q bonus damage ratio increased. E cooldown decreased.

Q - DANCE OF ARROWS

BONUS DAMAGE RATIO 65% AD ⇒ 75% AD

E - MOUNTING DREAD

COOLDOWN 16/15/14/13/12 seconds ⇒ 14/13/12/11/10 seconds

10% more ad ratio on Q and 2 seconds less cd on her E. That's a really interesting buff for Kindred, who is already really good jungler. 

 

LISSANDRA

Q base damage increased.

Q - ICE SHARD

BASE DAMAGE 70/100/130/160/190 ⇒ 80/110/140/170/200

10 more dmg on every level. Small buff.

 

MORDEKAISER

Q isolated enemy damage increased.

Q - OBLITERATE

ISOLATED ENEMY DAMAGE INCREASE 30/35/40/45/50% ⇒ 40/45/50/55/60%

10% more dmg on Q on isolated targets. That can be a nice buff for his laning phase, but in team fights it shouldn't matter that much.

 

RELL

E stun duration decreased.

E - ATTRACT AND REPEL

STUN DURATION 0.75 seconds ⇒ 0.5 seconds

Rell in previous patches was overpowered by her long cc chain. Nerfing her E stun duration is a good thing done by riot.

 

TEEMO

Passive bonus attack speed duration increased. E on-hit base damage increased.

PASSIVE - GUERILLA WARFARE

ELEMENT OF SURPRISE DURATION 3 seconds of bonus attack speed ⇒ 5 seconds of bonus attack speed

Small nerfs for Thresh. He’s kind of champion that the amount of shield is not the main thing. His W allows his allies to reposition in team fights or for escapes/engages.

UDYR

I'm not really sure how it will affect toplane meta, but I've heard that this buff is really huge for Yorick players.

Updates

IN-GAME SHOP UPDATES

- You can now purchase from the results of a search. Rejoice.

- Fixed an issue where Kalista's Black Spear was ruinationing her recommended items

- Items in the shop inventory have learned to count and will now display quantities correctly

- Texture improvements in ARAM

- Recommended items will no longer recommend a jungle item once you've upgraded smite. Oops!

- Fixed an issue where if a player dragged the scale of the Item Shop they would be unable to restore to default settings through the Options menu

 

Bugfixes/QOL Changes

- Seraphine can no longer trigger Moonstone Renewer's Starlit Grace heal when her Passive - Stage Presence grants Notes based on nearby allies. She should only be able to trigger Moonstone Renewer's Starlit Grace when she directly damages enemies and casts actual abilities on allies.

- Fixed a bug where AoE shields like Karma's E - Defiance and Seraphine's W - Surround Sound would not trigger Moonstone Renewer's Starlit Grace

- Fixed a bug where Lux would trigger Moonstone Renewer's heal by casting E - Lucent Singularity, regardless of if she hit an enemy

- Xin Zhao is no longer able to use E - Audacious Charge when he's Grounded

- Fixed a bug with Gangplank's UI which showed square icons, not circle ones

- Fixed a bug where abilities with periodic damage like Brand's Passive - Blaze would not trigger Spellthief's Edge's Tribute passive

- Goredrinker and Stridebreaker now cost the intended amount of gold (3300 gold, not 3200)

- Fixed an issue where Akali's E - Shuriken Flip tooltip would not update its damage numbers when buying/selling items

- Fixed a bug where Banshee's Veil's shield would not be affected by item haste, only its icon

- Fixed Bloodward's item description to correctly display the AD it grants when upgraded from Immortal Shieldbow by Ornn

- Corrected Blade of the Ruined King's Siphon damage in game to be consistent with the values in the item's tooltip in the client

- Fixed Immortal Shieldbow's tooltip in the Collections tab to remove the mention of attack speed

- Neeko's W - Shapesplitter no longer grants mana charges from Tear of the Goddess and its respective item line

- If an item with an active passive is on cooldown and the player moves Imperial Mandate onto its slot, it will no longer copy the former item's remaining cooldown

- Fixed a bug where Seeker's Armguard would affect Kai'Sa's W - Void Seeker's AP

- Morgana's Passive - Soul Siphon now properly benefits from small and medium monsters as her tooltip states

- Sylas can no longer gain charges of Passive - Petricite Burst when hitting enemy champions with Everfrost's Glaciate passive or Galeforce's Cloudburst passive

  • Toplane

S+ Tier: Gnar, Darius, Cho’Gath, Malphite, Urgot

Notes:

Gnar and Urgot are dominating soloQ right now, they are really good in the laning phase and also in later team fights. Cho’Gath and Malphite are still good options in my opinion, they are stable and really strong in team fights for objectives.

Recommendations: Darius, Gnar, Urgot, or Malphite.

 

  • Jungle

S+ Tier: Udyr, Hecarim, Kha’Zix

Recommendations: Highly recommend playing Udyr, Hecarim, Kha’Zix, and Viego. They are incredibly fast and have really good camp clear. They are probably one of the best duelists right now.

With the Everfrost buffs, more champions were added to the midlane champion pool. Right now Ahri is one of the strongest champions, of course, next to Kassadin, Fizz, Yone, and Yasuo in soloQ.

Recommendations: Ahri, Fizz, Kassadin, and Yone.

STERAK’S GAGE

UPDATED BLOODLUST After dealing damage to or taking damage from an enemy champion, the first stack heals you for [2% for melee | 1.2% for ranged] of maximum health, decreasing by 50% per stack afterwards, over 6 seconds.

BUGFIX Fixed a bug where Sterak's Gage's Bloodlust passive would not heal the user for each champion they were in combat with

Now Sterak’s Gage give healing on the first stack and then 50% less healing on the next stack.

 

LIANDRY'S ANGUISH

REMOVED TORMENT MAGIC PENETRATION Liandry’s no longer grants 5% magic penetration per second against burning targets

NEW TORMENT BONUS DAMAGE Liandry’s now grants up to 12% bonus magic damage to champions based on their bonus health (maximum 1250 bonus health)

Liandry’s Anguish now gives 12% more bonus magic damage to champions based on their bonus health.

 

LUDEN'S TEMPEST

NEW ECHO COOLDOWN Dealing ability damage to an enemy champion now also reduces Echo’s cooldown by 0.5 seconds (up to 3 seconds per ability)

Spells now reduce CD on Ludens

 

RABADON'S DEATHCAP

TOTAL COST 3800 gold ⇒ 3600 gold

Cost decreased by 200 gold.

 

SEEKER'S ARMGUARD

BONUS ARMOR PER KILL 1 ⇒ 0.5

MAX ARMOR 30 ⇒ 15

15 less armor and 0.5 armor per kill. It's a very huge nerf for this item.

 

VERDANT BARRIER

MAGIC RESIST PER KILL 0.5 ⇒ 0.3

MAX MAGIC RESIST 15 ⇒ 9

ABILITY POWER 25 ⇒ 20

5 less AP, 6 less max magic resist and 0.2 less magic resist per kill.

It's the same thing with Seeker’s armguard. It's a very important nerf for Midlanders especially.

 

SHURELYA'S BATTLESONG

INSPIRE COOLDOWN 90 seconds ⇒ 75 seconds

15s less on CD. Noticeable, but still more of a situational item.

 

STRIDEBREAKER

Another nerf for Stridebreaker, now it's 100 less health.

LEAGUE CLIENT: Fixed a player presence data issue where people in your lobby would not appear as Online and/or would not update when a player changed their Summoner Icon

LEAGUE CLIENT: Fixed Honor rewards image sizes
