Yes! Patch 13.8 is live and the hackers are gone! I mean
 almost gone!

We all are done over our heads with hackers jumping on our backline and assassinating our carries, especially since we are done with a certain green ADMIN mage!

The changes to the Hacker's trait and also to their targeting after reaching the enemy backline will be a huge hit to the LeBlanc compositions especially because she is the one that benefited the most out of the buggy targeting.

Gnar also gets a small hit on his AD, but will probably still be one of the most consistent carries this patch when reaching the 5 Gadgeteen power spike!

The Ox Force trait was admitted to be one of the most flawed designated ones in the last few sets, this being one of the main reasons why it gets a slight rework of how the OX  champions behave when they are out to get the final blow: now instead of being invulnerable to damage for 1 second, they get a shield that scales with max HP and lasts for 1.5 seconds. Remains to be seen how this change will feel in games, but most likely will be way less frustrating to play against.

Kai’sa had a really hard time last patch in the Hackers meta, even though she was very strong against other compositions. She gets a slight nerf in this patch to prevent her from rising too high in the win-rates with the downfall of hackers. Even with this Nerf, she might be one of the strongest compositions to run this patch, so check out our 13.7 patch notes article to see how to build a comp running around her!

Gnar Gadgeteen Reroll

The way you want to run this comp is pretty simple: take 5 gadgeteens and 3 hackers and put them together to make Gnar the unstoppable killing machine and send him into the enemy backlines!

With a Gadgeteen spat ( that you usually want to put on Le Blanc), this comp is way easier to get online because you’ll only need level 7 and you don’t need to find the Legendary unit Nunu.

You want to send Gnar on the side with the enemy carry, but if your matchups are on different sides is fine to just send him in the middle.

Items for Gnar are usually Last Whisper + Healing + some more tankiness or damage( Titans Resolve being a combination of both those stats).

Any other items you can just spread on your other Gadgeteen units. Eventually, in the late game, Nunu becomes the secondary carry on this composition.

Mech Garen with Bel’Veth and A Sol

This is a comp that requires a certain amount of skill to be able to reach, because you want to be rolling at level 8 for a higher chance on Epic and Legendary units.

items are spread evenly between your 3 carries.

Your tank carry is Garen, and you want to sacrifice 2 Mech units to make him even more stronger. The best items for him are Redemption+Bramble+Dragon Claw, being a balanced combination of all of the defenses, but pretty much any tank items would work.

Your AD carry is Bel’veth, and as every AD carry her main item is Last Whisper, to pierce through armor. Her itemisation is very similar to Gnar, so one of the main transitions to this board can be using Gadgeteen in the midgame.

A Sol is your 3rd carry that can get any leftover AP items, but if you have leftover AD items even after you completely itemized Bel’Veth, you can play instead a Samira and throw the items on her.

Warwick Brawlers & Lasers

This WW composition is way easier to play and even more powerful if you manage to get an early Lasercorp spat or Heart. Allows you to reach the 6 Laser Corps power spike once you manage to hit Mordekaiser. Laser corps are much better paired with bruisers instead of hackers because your team is tankier and stays alive more to apply the damage from the drones.

All the comps shown today share a very similar build for their main carry, but this time a good item on Warwick would be Edge of Night because he has no inbuilt defense besides the brawler trait, and with this item, he can reset the aggro on him.

Extra attack speed items like Statikk Shiv or Guinsoo can go on Ashe, and AP items will go later on Mordekaiser, who will eventually become your main carry at level 9.
